i am becoming normal about my interests again

I don’t know how it feels to lock eyes with your childhood best friend and lifelong love after 160 years or so without seeing eachother because of the biggest misunderstanding, but I’m hoping it’s something like this

In Tolkien's work, elves can die from roughly two things: of being murdered, or of having a broken heart. The second thing is what's happening to Thraniavas. I always pictured dying of a broken heart as something really slow, as if the elves who suffer from it would slowly start to forget everything they loved day by day, until they are left empty and they simply fade away. The untimely demise of his wife, Elion's mother, was the last straw that was left before his heart shattered into pieces, as he carried on his shoulders the loss of his father Oropher, and an endless count of his friends and people in the War of the Last Alliance.
