Went out to get some sweets at my favorite dessert cafe. Brought my To Go Ware 3-Tier Stainless Steel Food Carrier to bring home the goodies. With this carrier, I don't use their Take Out Boxes. I bought a slice of tiramisu, a lemon bar and a cannoli. Although the cannoli was slightly too long to fit comfortably, it still was all there😉. For small items, I like to use this carrier and for left over foods at a lunch or dinner. Ingredients: 1 cup lemon curd. 2 cups vanilla ice cream. 1 package shortbread cookies.
Instructions: Lemon curd and vanilla ice cream should be mixed together well in a bowl. Cover a shortbread cookie with a thick layer of the ice cream mixture. Put another shortbread cookie on top to make a sandwich. Do it again with the rest of the cookies and ice cream mix. The sandwiches should be frozen for at least two hours before they are served.
