“We’re often asked what wintertime care looks for our residents at the Zoo. In some cases, we give our animals access to both the outsude and their heated bedrooms. This is Soomi, female gerenuk and mother to Agnes. She has no intention of setting a foot in the snow, but she greatly enjoys sitting on her comfy bed, just next to the door, enjoying the fresh air and smelling the outside world on a chilly day.”
