Lawsonite in her homeworld form 💙💙
compared to Jasper
Lawsonite’s ref sheet (they/them)
The big gays.
Lawsonite - super anxious. A total twink. Pretty femme, but like not 100%, sarcastic, bitchy. Submissive.
Tigers eye- confident as hell. HUNK. Masc as all heck, kinda dumb, cuddle monster. Dominant.
They would totally be a couple if their components could keep it together

Here’s Tugtupite!
Over all of the sketches and drawings, Tug is my favorite of my gems and she deserves more love than what I give her!
Tugtupite is a shy, quiet and soft spoken gem that gets to be pushed around a lot due to how unsure they are of themself. Because of their lack of self confidence, they are often teased and harassed, mostly due to how their hair changes color. When indoors, under shade or at night, Tug’s hair is a pink-ish off-white, while in full sunlight her hair turns a brilliant rose red, the opposite of the Lunarian’s favorite mint color. When she is in full sun, it drains her of all strength and energy, making her both lethargic and worthless in fighting Moon People. She can also turn other objects/items pink upon touch, if she desires. Since she doesn’t have the hardness (at only 4) or energy, and isn’t as respected by her peers, she has been trying to find a place to fit into her world. For a long time Tug was partnered up with Lawsonite, who was able to get away with treating her awfully and using her like a slave. Lawsonite would demean and lower her ego, yet claimed that she was the only gem who could ever put up with her and would be her only partner until she is eventually shattered.
Eventually, Tugtupite was able to gain the courage to leave Lawsonite, and after years of menial tasks around the school she ran into the veteran gem Apophyllite. Since meeting, the two have become good partners and fast friends.
Enjoy! :>
Roles for ilvaite and lawsonite and what do you think about the idea of a gem being a survivor from a colony that had a very massive disaster and the gem is last or one of the last gems that were made on the planet?
Hm, a role for Ilvaite, which is associated with patience, stability, and truth. This could mean that they’re a gem with a role that requires those traits. Such as an inquisitor who seeks to root out any signs of rebellion or other disobedience to the diamonds. Or perhaps an interrogator willing to spend many hours in order to get the truth out of someone. Perhaps a judge could work, as well. Residing over court when the Diamonds are not needed for the case.
Meanwhile a role for Lawsonite- a gem associated withrepairing relationships and healing, as well as being formed in high pressure conditions- could put them in a role of a caregiver. Perhaps they work in kindergartens alongside Peridots, teaching newly formed gems what they need to know aside from what they know from their ‘birth.’ A Lawsonite could also be a gem who works as sort of a ‘doctor’ of sorts- working their hardest to help gems that have been cracked or have exhausted their-selves.They could also be a reporter, gathering news to keep the gem populace informed (though likely with the diamond propaganda in mind when doing so) of ongoings in the gem empire. Especially if they go on site to research the incident, putting them in tough situations that require dealing with people.
I think that’s a really creative idea! It could provide some really interesting backstory and traits to your gem(s) being one of the few survivors if done right!~
