If it helps you figure it out: Sardonyx mashes up Garnet’s body type- which heavily uses curves, squares, and ovals- and Pearl’s, which heavily uses rectangles, cylinders, and triangles. So Sardonyx herself is composed of mostly ovals and cylinders, with triangles for her head, feet, and some of her clothing.

So if you take a look at this picture, you should be able to spot the shapes involved pretty easily. Either way, I hope this helps you!

My first thought is how electricity can be used to create fire, so perhaps some sort of electrical heating with the ability to make things combust through electricity?

You could also go for combined fire and electricity with electric-fire manipulation. Or the electricity powers could be stronger and more explosive, on the level of lightning bolt projection/creation.

I think a staff fits very well! You can be very versatile with the design, ranging from a thin long stick, to a wizard-y staff that resembles elegant carved walking staves. There’s a huge variety of staff/stick weapons to chose from, too, such as the shillelagh, quarterstaff, bō, or makila.

But if you want something else, perhaps other weapons that are good at disarming people could work too! Such as nunchaku~ While their chain means you might need a little aim, it’s still melee and can be used to disarm someone or to grab their arms to keep them from moving.

And then you could go the Steven/Rose Quartz route instead and give your Aventurine a shield. While she wouldn’t be able to use it like a shield-boomering Captain America style, the shield can be used for bashing, shoving, and- of course- shielding. Plus it could have spikes along the front for more danger. Or the shape of the shield that could compliment hitting someone- such as the shape of a heater or kite shield.

I’m really sorry, but I’m not sure what you what advice for? Could you please clarify what you’re asking for? This is a bit too vague for me to answer otherwise, sorry. ^^;

Most blue gems are associated with water, but here’s a few I found that are associated with earthy personality traits or do have an association with earth.

Callaghanite is a rare crystal that encourages rational thinking, removes obstacles from your way, and encourages confidence and growth of strength in your character. 

Halite encourages independent thought as well as initiative, and blue halite stimulates intuition. Additionally Halite is also known as rock salt, and that could help play into controlling rocks.

Hemimorphite is a protective stone that encourages inner strength, and can also encourage love and compassion. Some more traits that might be associated with a loving earth character.

Sodalite encourages self-discipline, efficiency, rational thought, and intuition. Definitely a gem with associations befitting for someone who controls rocks.

Turquoise is associated with the element of earth and can range from green to blue in color.

As for weapon, I don’t know your Zircon too well, so I’ll make some suggestions based on the role Zircons have on Homeworld and general metaphysical information on Zircon.

Perhaps a mallet due to the imagery and association of court with a judge’s gavel. She could also have a war hammer for similar reasons.

Alternatively, she could have a claymore or rapier. Due to Lady Justice holding a sword, and zircon’s association with virtue. A sword could work nicely because of its association with justice, knighthood, and heroism. And in my personal opinion, a rapier could fit a Zircon’s appearance very well.

I could also see a spear working for a Zircon; sharp and to the point.

Lastly, a meteor hammer could work as a representation of the scales used to represent justice and the legal system, due to its dual weights on a chain.

Well if you want to go a scientific route, Pearls are composed of calcium carbonate- which comes from Aragonite or a combination of Aragonite and Calcite. Some other naturally occurring sources of calcium carbonate include Limestone, Chalk, Marble, or Travertine. So you could potentially use a combination of two of the above for a Pearl fusion.

If you want to go for appearances, perhaps an Ammolite or Shell could work too! A Common Opal could work, too, due to their smooth, translucent appearance.

Hm, a role for Ilvaite, which is associated with patience, stability, and truth. This could mean that they’re a gem with a role that requires those traits. Such as an inquisitor who seeks to root out any signs of rebellion or other disobedience to the diamonds. Or perhaps an interrogator willing to spend many hours in order to get the truth out of someone. Perhaps a judge could work, as well. Residing over court when the Diamonds are not needed for the case.

Meanwhile a role for Lawsonite- a gem associated withrepairing relationships and healing, as well as being formed in high pressure conditions- could put them in a role of a caregiver. Perhaps they work in kindergartens alongside Peridots, teaching newly formed gems what they need to know aside from what they know from their ‘birth.’ A Lawsonite could also be a gem who works as sort of a ‘doctor’ of sorts- working their hardest to help gems that have been cracked or have exhausted their-selves.They could also be a reporter, gathering news to keep the gem populace informed (though likely with the diamond propaganda in mind when doing so) of ongoings in the gem empire. Especially if they go on site to research the incident, putting them in tough situations that require dealing with people.

I think that’s a really creative idea! It could provide some really interesting backstory and traits to your gem(s) being one of the few survivors if done right!~
