Now initially I was gonna rant about a certain “discussion” sparked by some certain poorly done “attempts” made by an certain egotistical “artist”, but after I calmed down, I turned my bitterness into slight panic. “Wait, how do I present transgender men in my drawings?” Thus this sketch was made.(I was gonna line it but by then I just felt idk about it)

I decided that this is an opportunity for me to consider what characters I have and how they differ. Despite the fact that I’m 1) a cis female, and 2) not planning to be a professional artist (my drawings being more of a hobby), I am trying my best to have the characters I make inclusive, and in terms of designing them, make them memorable without resorting to gross caricature. The characters shown here, while they vary wildly in personality, I notices about 4 of them here are similar in body type. I should definitely consider making more muscular/chubbier/curvier trans men if I do go back on some character-making stuff.

I’ll leave this open for critique for others to talk about. Even though I have felt like I’ve identified the faults in my character designs already, a second opinion is more than welcome.
