‘i Would Hate Not to Have the Joy of Food’ – Why Dame Prue Leith Gave up Weight-Loss Jabs
Key Highlights Dame Prue Leith gave up weight-loss jabs after a month due to their side effects. The 86-year-old cook opened up about her experience at London Fashion Week and The Great British Bake Off. Leith’s new book, “Being Old And Learning To Love It,” is set for release in February 2024. The Joy of Food vs. Starvation Mode: Dame Prue Leith’s Weight Loss Jabs Experiment Dame Prue Leith,…
Rereading some comments, and I think War killed Helevise. Maybe the reason Gitta and Prue’s scents were there was because they were in conflict with Helevise, so it was god nonsense that left their scent there. War killed her, and left behind evidence of those who were “at war” with her.
I’m watching charmed for the first time! I’m all done with season one and I'm saying all this because I AM SICK that Andy called it off prue 😭😭 like I really wanted them to end up together
This is so silly but I'm not going to answer more questions about Gitta/Prue/Helevise relationship or the halv drama! Because there's been something odd going on in my inbox about these three for over a year now, I think it's mainly one person dead set on hearing me explain this in 20 ways with alts while also trying to bait me into badmouthing them.
So uh yeah! Bye girls. 🕊

1. I never understood exactly why Gitta and Prue hated Usma so much but in my re-read I realised that maybe they were like some of the readers at the time, not knowing what her connection to Antaras was and guessing there was some kind of romantic element there and being jealous about it ("That's a good stag going to waste"), would that be correct?
2. Piggybacking from the ask appreciating the wolves (same, btw): Have you entertained the idea of maybe one day giving us glimpses of the other animals' complex systems?
Not necessarily hating. I imagine they tried to make contact with her to become a trio since they're agemates, but Usma was (understandably) pretty absent after all she went through. Without any information why she was brushing them off paired with the frustration of Helevise not taking them seriously, something had to become the target. Mutual dislike of something brings people together, and Prue and Gitta needed each other. Also yeah they had no idea they were a parent and child. The whole Antaras/Eve/Usma concept was muddled to them because nobody thought to tell them anything.
I know people would like this but I'm going to stick to what's necessary for us to know. I don't want to branch off too far, it's a lot of work as it is!
I'm doing my usual pre-new chapter reread and I was wondering exactly WHY Antaras felt the need to kill Gitta and Prue.
Did he actually think they killed Helevise or was he just eliminating witnesses?
He didn't think they were the main culprit as he already figured the wound was made by an antler, but he connected them to the fact Helevise was killed because their scent was there.
At this point he's very dismayed that Helevise is dead and has absolutely no regard for their lives. He's not afraid of witnesses (what can they do?) but it's so easy to just kill them and get them off his mind.
