ok but what if the portwell duet is “go my own way” from hsm2. im scared (from an anon)

These two asks are addressing the same thing, so I'm putting them together. I'm a little confused about what the placement of Portwell's duet in S3 would have to do with the Gina/Ricky foreshadowing, but I'm glad you still have hope! Lol. In all honesty, I really don't care what song EJ and Gina sing, as long as Matt and Sofia finally get their long awaited duet. All the other ships got their musical moment:

Rini- they BEEN having songs in b/ seasons

Rina- when there was me and you

Redlyn- red means love

Seblos- the climb / in a heartbeat

Kowie- if i can't love her

Ejini- what I've been looking for

Yes EJ is older than Gina. Yes he will go to university at the end of the summer when Gina will be staying in High School.

People are saying than Portwell will break up because of Ricky, but also because this relationship can't continue if they are not in the same town.

Look at them, they are so cuuuute, how could people think about their breakup?!

But I have some arguments for the distance:

First: EJ is rich. If he could buy her a fly ticket, he could buy himself a fly ticket or just take his car to return to Salt Lake. Plus, knowing him, he won't let the distance distance them.

Oh and do we know the distance between Salt Lake and the university? Is this really that far?

My second argument is from the first episode of season 3. Kourtney said that Howie was busy preparing for university. That means Howie is older than Kourt, but also that Gina and Kourt are in the same situation: their boyfriends will move up when they will have to finish High School.

And did Kourtney seemed worry about Howie's going to the university? No, she seemed fine when she talked about him.

So my point is: If you think that Portwell will break up because EJ leaves the town, why aren't you thinking the same for Kowie?! What makes them different from Portwell?! If I had to choose the couple who can succeed to overcome the distance between Kowie and Portwell, I would pick Portwell.

Not that I don't believe in Kowie, but we didn't see them that much in season 2. Their relationship is very fresh, they met like three months ago.

Portwell on the other hand, knows each other since the start of the school year. They were friends first, we really saw them interact, and even if their relationship is still new, we know that EJ is very devoted to Gina.

So to all the Rina's fan: I respect your opinion, you can ship Rina and don't like Portwell if you want to. But when you are making a statement like that, don't forget that other characters could be in the same case of figure. If you want to think that Portwell will break up because of the university then you have to think the same for Kowie.

- PORTWELL AND THEIR DATE. after what jamie said, ej is not sure if gina actually likes him and the date might be cancelled. gina is gonna be heartbroken because she doesn't know what jamie said to ej. so they need to have a talk and kiss.

- NINI AND GINA TALKING ABOUT THE CHOCOLATE SITUATION. this episode was opening night, so there couldn't be any drama between anyone. I want them to clear the air and be besties!!

- SPEAKING ABOUT NINI, I loved how nini was a emotional pillar for everyone. her character was really nice and I'd love to see more of that AND director nini. ALSO, we all saw the sneak peak where gina and nini talk about her music opportunities right??? WE NEED SOME MORE INFORMATION ON THAT

- RINA CLOSURE!!!! ricky and gina need to have a talk just to close up whatever they had.

- MISS JENN APOLOGIZING TO ALL OF THEM FOR HER BEHAVIOR

- BATB CAST FLUFF. just them all laughing and having fun. they need it after all the shit they went through with north high, ms. jenn, relationship messes...

ALL OF THIS IS TO HAPPEN IN PRESUMABLY 30 MINUTES (unless tim extended the time)

The real question is where is Howie???

They couldve easily make him go to camp with Kourtney. And even if he didnt, remember back 2×07 (I think?) They couldnt stop texting each other.
