“I will take you as My people, and I will be your God” (Exodus 6:7).
God desires that we know Him. He revealed and manifested Himself to His people through great deliverances, signs and wonders — and yet they did not know their God.
“For forty years I was grieved with that generation, and said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, and they do not know My ways’” (Psalm 95:10)
God is still looking for a people who will let Him be God to them. We are like Israel in that we have witnessed miracles, experienced manifestation of His presence and had our prayers answered. When troubles come we still doubt Him and we don't fully trust Him.
Rest in the knowledge that Jesus loves you dearly.
When the enemy comes in like a roaring lion, don't panic. When the floods overwhelm you, don't despair - just rest. Say, "God loves me — Jesus loves me. I know and believe in His love.” Let us be a people who know their God and know His ways.
For one to be filled with the knowledge of God, one must have experienced Him firsthand.
The word “knowledge” in Greek refers to insight, or experiential knowledge, often with spiritual depth. So when writers like Paul delight in seeing those “filled with the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:9-12), this means that the people in question have come to experience God firsthand. They have tasted and seen that He is good.
There’s a clear difference between knowing about someone and knowing them personally. You can know everything there is to know about your favorite celebrity, but never know them personally. It’s the latter type of knowing that God wishes to have with us, and this can only happen via constant study of His word and making a habit of prayer.
Knowing God first hand will soon give you eyes that see as Jesus described. You’ll begin to see God at work in every area of your life, no matter how small. You getting to where you wanted to go safely, seeing your family on the weekends, and you eating a good meal will be seen by your eyes as the grace and workings of God (because they are). What’s seen as ordinary to most will be perceived as divine to those who are chosen (which is you, dear reader).
Once you come to know God personally, you will naturally begin to bear fruits that are pleasing to Him, meaning that your life will slowly and naturally change into the image of its Creator. What’s sinful will make you uncomfortable, and what’s pleasing to God will become pleasing to you. You’ll begin to avoid places that are temptations for you, and start to surround yourself with those who are also filled with the Holy Spirit. The fruits, while contributing nothing to your salvation, will be signs that the you have accepted Christ into your heart, and that you have begun to know Him personally.
If you aren’t naturally producing these things, yet claim to know God, you run the risk of imitating someone else rather than Jesus (Satan for those who don’t know).
Cultivating a knowledge of God will help you get to know Him personally, and thus, help you shine brightly to this world that desperately needs Him. But it all starts with you accepting the invitation He offers you in His Son, Jesus. Will you accept?
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️
Sometimes we just need to be reminded of this…
People may let you down, but God never will.
"As you come to know God, you will feel a peaceful stillness settle into your heart. You will understand that this challenging earth-life was designed with significant purpose and meaning. You will start to see a divine hand at work in your life, imparting personalized tender mercies, especially during harsher trials. You will come to realize that you are not, nor have you ever been, left alone. As you come to know God, you will learn that you can trust Him."

“Be passionate in your relationship with God Almighty. Relationship with Him is the New Covenant. Know God by knowing His clearest revelation of Himself to humanity through His Word born flesh, Y’hoshua the Anointed One. This life is only temporary. It is not our Home. Our only Home is with Him.”
