Hi! Thanks for the ask!! Not really, I’m very much a ready to write at all times kind of person. I don’t really ever close the document on my computer for whenever inspiration strikes, and I have an extra notes doc for each fic on my phone for quickly writing things down if I have ideas/scenes/dialogue on the go. Do enjoy a cup of tea while writing though!

Hmmm, I don’t think so, because while I’m not outwardly militant in the least about what I like and dislike, I do tend to stay away from those things that don’t strike my fancy. But in the broader sense if it, I believe when I was younger, fandom life definitely helped me come to terms with my internalised misogyny, and start enjoying OTPs with, like, women in them again - we’re all guilty of being silly teens, in one way or another, and I’m glad I got past that.

oh man, i do it a loooot, it’s hard to say what the most is.  direct scenarios?  my personality?  real people?  there’s little slivers and chunks of me in all kinds of stuff, and stiles calls to me so much because so much of just his base character, his sense of humor, his avoidance of problems, his sarcasm, is also my natural resting state.

i remember getting a comment about what a disaster stiles is for using his dryer as a closet in [hilary duff lyric redacted].  *raises hand* hey, hi, that’s me.  

violet and stiles’ conversations in of bananas, babies and buzzkills... some of it is taken verbatim from me and my sister.  

stiles in pick a pack of pestered puppies is probably most accurately me in his interactions.  insensitive but striving to still be helpful, gets along weirdly excellently with parents, showing up for your friends but not wanting to inconvenience them into showing up for you, dealing with that feeling of being left out of a group, his sense of humor, etc, etc, that one i wrote really quickly and then realized i essentially just wrote me as soon as it went up, lol.

i’ve said before but two pants scott from seat belts & gravity is a real person i met in high school, and we did actually name him two pants scott for the exact reason he’s named two pants scott in the fic, down to the spider-man pjs.  

derek’s coping mechanism in birds of a feather is me, me, me and exactly how i (don’t)-deal with things, not to mention the fraughtness of just having a sibling in general.  (which i would love to see in fic more!!!)

other fics are nothing more than inspired by the books or fics i just read, some so much so that it can put me right back into that story when i read it (instructions for dancing is the night circus by erin morgenstern, our puddle is deceptively deep is by a law divine by mirrorkill, etc. - they have nothing to do with each other except they inspired me to write).  

sevens and eights is probably my most personal one because i don’t like to talk about my ???? sexuality because i just generally don’t like things i don’t understand and that is definitely numero uno of those things and that’s probably the most i’ve ever tried to conceptualize myself in that regard, which is TERRIFYING, OKAY.
