Summary:
Shirogane Takashi is a veteran who returned to his planet and country scarred and broken. Homeless, with little prospect of benefits any time soon, he moves in with his friend, Matt Holt, in a small town in New Mexico. He meets Keith Kogane, a half-human, half-galran man, whom immigrated to Earth at the end of the war.
It is there, in that tiny, drive-through-never-really-to town, that they discover that life is incredibly messy. With roaring laughter, consuming anger, and white-hot tears, they all just might find healing along the way.
