These homemade potstickers have a delicious mix of sweet and spicy flavors that you can't resist. These potstickers are filled with a seasoned mix of ground pork and cabbage. They are a tasty snack or appetizer.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground pork. 1 cup finely shredded cabbage. 3 green onions, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce. 1 tablespoon honey. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste. 1 package round potsticker or gyoza wrappers. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for cooking. 1/2 cup water, for steaming.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine ground pork, shredded cabbage, chopped green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to form the potsticker filling. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each potsticker wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half, creating a half-moon shape. Press the edges to seal the potsticker. Repeat until all the potstickers are assembled. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Arrange the potstickers in the skillet, ensuring they are not touching each other. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown. Carefully add water to the skillet, cover, and steam the potstickers for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the filling is cooked through. Remove the lid and let the potstickers cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the bottoms to crisp up again. Serve the sweet and spicy potstickers hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy these delightful potstickers with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice!
