And the obedience to those in authority in what comes from Allah – ʿazza wa jalla – that makes Him pleased, and avoiding what comes from Allah that makes Him displeased. Don't let what people say and think take you off your Path. You shouldn't change because of the things you've been through but instead what you learned from them. Gossip, hearsay and lies should be corrected on the spot. But sometimes it's to no avail. So know that you will never make people happy. So stick with the Truth and remain silent where energy will go to waste. The world has shades of 'Grey' and 'black'. You will find light in certain places like Mosques and sister congregations. Go there and make those places a regular place of visits. And the only Pleasure you ought to seek with diligence is Allah's (ﷻ). Don't worry about people, they come around. Humans aren't perfect.
