It’s been a bit, so I figure I should post another story or something.
This one I’ve been working on is called Aphasia, named after a disorder where in you’re unable to process language because of some of the major themes in the story being basically unbridgeable language barriers. This one is a novel and is actually about 40% to 60%-ish done.
Here’s the cover I made for it:
The synopsis is “after crashing unexpectedly on an alien planet, Lev Nahkaä is left stranded, wounded, and helpless. Thankfully the locals who find him are friendly, but working around the vast language barrier between them proves to be more difficult than either expected.”
It’s a sci-fi if it wasn’t obvious, and definitely on the darker side of stories I’ve written.
Here’s some more drawings I made for it (first picture, left to right: Kethu, Tanal, and Lev)
I haven’t worked on it in a while, but I plan to pick it back up soon. There are currently four and a half completed chapters, though here’s the first two if you’re interested for whatever reason:
(Tw on the story: tw blood, tw surgery, tw injuries, tw vivisection I guess? Um, tw gross stuff, tw vomit) pdf here
Typos and weird writing mistakes are in there cause I haven’t edited it death yet, so just keep that in mind if you did open the link.
I’ll write more for this eventually I’m sure. Hope you like it, or don’t, I don’t really care tbh
Thanks for reading :]
