How did you start your bullet journal? Like what's on your first page? I've been wanting to start one for a while and I just bought my book this weekend but I haven't been able to decide what I want to do with the first page. Thank you!
When I got my first bullet journal, I just put down a checklist for the uni I was applying to, and then just did a daily spread. I didnât think about it much, I just wanted to start my bujo, so I did :D Thatâs also the best advice I can give you â just start! You wonât be looking at the first page of your journal every time you open it, and even if so, youâll be more concerned about your current spread than whatâs on your first page :) I have my journal permanently opened on my current spread, and if I happen to close it, I have the newest spread bookmarked, so I never look at the first page :D
If you want some ideas, you can keep it simple and just write bullet journal there, or find some nice motivational quote you like and write it in a fancy script. Or you can stick a nice picture there, make a doodle, or simply do a yearly calendar. I wouldnât advise you to skip the page, thinking that youâll add something later when you have some âbetter ideaâ, because from my experience I know that this will never happen and itâll stay forever empty :âD
Hope this helps!!
