Having one of those “do I exist in a meaningful way” kind of days.

The neighbours on one side are 'really nice' . Occasionally helpful.
However I've come to see that I don't value 'nice' as much as 'quiet', and 'keeping certain unwritten British customs', like NOT FUCKING DRILLING AND HAMMERING on the otherside of the wall by my head whilst i'm in bed, i.e before 9am.
In my book any banging and drilling done before 9am and after 9pm is just fucking taking THE FUCKING BISCUIT.
I would cherish an aloof, even grumpy neighbour who kept themselves to themselves, if they were quiet and respected boundaries.

I needed a new rashie recently. My wife was going shopping. I asked her to get me one EXACTLY LIKE HERS. I was very clear. Exactly like hers. Hers is a loose fitting t-shirt shape, standard t-shirt sleeves, not tight on any part of the body.
She bought me a forking women's rashie, fitted all over, high neck, ¾ length sleeves, and then had the audacity to be surprised when I didn't love it! I said I want one exactlyike hers, how can she be surprised when she goes off script, that I'm not thrilled with her choices????
it feels hard to justify drawing anything when every day I see at least a dozen works of art better than the sum total of everything I've ever made in my life. And it's not like I have some incredibly unique vision making up for my mediocre skills
I have to go on posting things because there is money I need on the line. But also I want people to enjoy my art, why else would you make art? it doesn't need to be that serious, but I think art lacks meaning if no one is getting anything out of it, hence my crisis. what do I even have to offer that isn't being done better by a million other people
I'm sposed to have "proper" weekend brunch today at a fancyish place and I'm having outfit indecision 🙃
I haven't been anywhere / done anything fancy in months and my fancier clothes didn't survive the reno purge nightmare...
and obvi I could wear scrubs and a graphic tee (aka my usual) and I'm sure it would be fine! I don't need to wear something fancy. I just want to, y'know?
guess this is as good an excuse as any to go shopping 👀 it won't solve the current crisis but it'll help prevent such in future 😌
