Ugh...So Far To Go
173.0 to 170.6
2.4 pound loss =(
I know its something so far but honestly I feel terrible. I’m not where I want to be. I want to try to be the best Marine Corps Officer I can be. I know I’m not the first who had to loose weight and I will not be the last.
It’s just a matter of fighting to get into the best shape possible.
On another side note, I’m getting better at pull ups. I can do roughly 30-40 jumping pull ups per day. Now all I need to do is get a pull up.

Crossfit Challenge- Day 4
So this morning was the start of week two of my Crossfit challenge. All weekend I could not wait to get back in the box. I learned so much last week and I could not wait to see what I was going to learn today.
When I got to Crossfit Indian Trail I found that there was four more people added to my group. I have to say I felt like I had a lot more experience but did not want to seem too cocky to…

Warm-up x 2
10 air squats
10 pass throughs
10 leg swings
1 min row
Strength (8 min EMOM)
3 1 1/4 backsquats at 80% (145 lbs)
6 ring dips (negative)
WOD (Cinderella: 12 min AMRAP = 13 + 1 burpee)
3 burpees
5 C2B pull ups (modified to jumping pull-ups)
7 air squats
I have been a bad updater. Today was a really good workout though! We had horrible weather last week and things were pretty much shut down and I was so ready to be back today. The squats were heavy and you can see my form break a little bit here (in the gray tank top starting around :09). I wasn't doing a very good job driving from my heels, so it's something to keep in mind.
Post-WOD: I felt amazing. Even though I was doing jumping pull-ups, they felt great and I was getting some good height.

Performance: 5/3/1 (3 week) 70%x3 80%x3 90%x3+
53, 60, 68 x 6 (during the last part of the cycle my heaviest was 67 and I did 8, so feeling pretty good about this, it's getting heavy)
Press e5/6
3 Rounds For Time of: 270m Run 7 Dumbbell Snatch Left 7 Dumbbell Snatch Right 10 Kipping Pull-Ups (did jumping C2B with a really small box)
Go really fracking heavy on the dumbbells.
8:19 with 30# dumbbells. Looking back I should have used 35, but last WOD with dumbbell snatch I did 25, so at least I'm moving up.
