This took waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long to release. Like it literally took me 5 seconds to do but who has the time to post these days?

...Apparently not me :P

So as I’ve finally gotten to a point where my job and routines and personal issues aren’t swamping me at every corner...I give you the anticipated (overstated XD) mod tweaking Kaidan’s romance email in Mass Effect 2 for when Male Shepard is the romantic interest from ME1 (if you mess with the first game’s progression using the console like I do :P).

However, while this tweak was specifically geared towards gay male Shepard users, I also pitched in a gender neutral email for those that switch between characters. I’m not gonna tell you how to play your game so...

Remember [!] that this overrides the BioGame_INT.tlk and anything that tampers with this, be it mods or other .tlk tweaks, will likely conflict with this mod given it’s its own other edited .tlk.

Realistically, anyone could do this, it’s rather simple but I get that other people don’t have the time or are too freaked out with the tools; but I’m pedantic as fuck. This needed to be fixed, however small :P (I only ever played MShep, and am obsessed with the MShep/Kaidan romance so this was a biiiiig irk to say the least).

Anyway, I apologize for the wall of text, but here’s the download anyway!

Installation: Navigate to your Mass Effect 2 game folder directory. Then go to BIOGame > CookedPCConsole. Unzip the .tlk file in the archive to the CookedPCConsole and replace the existing file. Remember to pick only one .tlk file! Keep backups of the original for ease should you wish to uninstall/overwrite the mod.

Given it’s a .tlk file edit, there shouldn’t be any extra steps or major conflicting issues with making it work. If there are, let me know and I’ll look into it when I can :)
