I do really like how Citadel-centric ME3 is. I think it adds a lot to the world building and understanding of the setting and politics in the way they've developed this universe. Making the Citadel feel simultaneously like the center of the galaxy, and like it's a place that is floundering and under siege, adds so much imo to the sense of foreboding and impending doom throughout the entire game
well I uh beat mass effect 3 in the legendary edition so well time to make up headcanons cause I made my canon the control ending. A little bit of spoiler filled yapping I’ll block off.
Maybe a bit incoherent lol.
The thing is, Mass Effect 3 will always have a special place in my heart because it was my "first" videogame (first game that wasn't a party game, and that I played partially on my own without just watching someone else play it).
That opened up the whole big amazing wide world of gaming, and the very particular kind of storytelling that only games can do

I’ve been fucking gutted
The ending of the Tuchanka arc from Mass Effect 3 was easily one of the most satisfying and uplifting moments of the entire trilogy! Watching Commander Shepherd honor her friendship with Wrex & Eve by helping both them and the rest of the Krogan cure the genophage, as well as Mordin sacrificing himself to atone for his past sins by dispersing the cure into the planet’s atmosphere, made me feel unbelievably ecstatic!
