Deadlines, crafts and time for rest🍂

So, didn’t post for like… six weeks. Life got really busy and my motivation for my assignments absolutely tanked. It was probably a combination of getting sick (haven’t beent this sick in YEARS), being overwhelmed and honestly? The state of the world. But, this is my comfy corner of the internet, so this is what I did do and what I am proud of the last few weeks.

I finished my Sunflowers cross stitch piece!! Still need to iron and finish it off, but this was such a fun kit to do. (I’ll post that later once I’ve got a good picture!)

Went on a week long holiday to Switzerland and got the most gorgeous view in Luzern

Made my november spread yesterday!

I didn’t read as much as I wanted to, but I did finish Glorious Rivals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, I flew through that book and it’s so ridiculous it’s just a fun read. Looking forward to the next one!

Took loads of walks. Autumn is my favourite season, and it’s been an absolute joy to see the colours on the trees change and kicking my boots in the crunchy leaves.

A different kind of post today but it still has a creative piece included (and one that proved difficult to put together but I persevered! 💪)

It's a birthday post! 🥳🎉

It is in fact my birthday today so of course I had to make a little post and spread of pure D&G indulgence. It's the one time of the year where I can be fully insufferable about them and no one can tell me to shut up because it's my birthday ahaha 🤭🎊🎁

I created a 3D easel type spread with plenty of layers to make D&G pop out a little from the stand base and honestly despite the trouble it gave me, I am so so happy with the end result! I'll be trying more of these unique shape 'spreads'in the new year for sure! 🎨

Anyway, I can't do too much on my birthday due to my limited health but being able to share my love of Diasyir & Grøh and my crafty inclinations here with you all, my wonderful family, friends, and loyal followers, means more to me than anything else. 💖

Thank you for being here, your support, kindness, acceptance, love & friendship is like a beacon in the dark. I hope to celebrate even more birthdays in future with D&G and all of you. 💖🎉🥳🎊🎁🎈🍾
