So after I thought I finished Ruri Rocks, I got bullied into watching Chainsaw Man. That was some whiplash from hell. Is Chainsaw Man good? I think I can objectively say yes, the animation and story telling are great. Is it the kind of anime I like to watch? Fuck no. Part of it is definitely because of the gore and body horror stuff (I legit had nightmares after just about every episode I watched), but mostly it's just because in my life everything is horrible forever, so I definitely don't want to watch an anime where everything is horrible forever. Hell, it took my best friend (at the time, guess how that turned out) talking non stop from months to get me into Demon Slayer, and after seeing the new movie in theaters I wish he hadn't (the only one I actually cared about died and now I hate everything). Once again, it is definitely a good anime with beautiful animation and good story telling, but the general theme is everything is horrible forever, and I hate that. Give me the world of Lucky Star over Hellsing, ya know? All that being said, I am certainly going to see that Chainsaw Man movie when it comes out, and I am certainly going to have nightmares afterwards. So, I just finished Chainsaw Man and found out there is still 1 more episode of Ruri Rocks left, but imma keep that in my back pocket for a really shit day. Decided to just go for a random romance anime to build me back up, but it turns out it's an annoying ero anime instead of a sweet romance anime, and unfortunately I'm the type who has to finish an anime I start (which is why I've seen School Days and Kaleidostar). Thank goodness it only has 12 episodes.
