Getting old is interesting. I've always been a middle ground between sports (skateboarding, surfing, jiu-jitsu) and an avid student. Over time, it's clear that you can't keep trying the same tricks, just as you can't study the same way.

New programing languages:

"I would like to learn this language!"

-"Here's the most beautiful website you've ever seen, 3 free textbooks,greatest documentation ever, and a billion dollars for you for just being interested!"

Old programing languages:

"I would like to learn this lang-"

Java should not be learned as a first programming language. Learn another language like Python, learn about classes and functions and methods in that language, and only then start learning Java. If you're learning Java first, you're going to have no idea about any of that stuff, which will make everything that's done seem like confusing and arbitrary boilerplate.

3. Read for 30 min
