“chat!” jason yells. “we all know what day it is,” he watches as the moniter goes in super speed.
“y’all wanted this so bad and we hit the sub goal so we will be on the way to the beach soon,” he clicks some things on his screen while continuing to talk.
“but before that we will be doing desktop while we wait for the special guest to arrive,” he spends time going through his reddit and responding to the chats questions about the day before getting a knock on the door.
he looks at the screen, “chat, it might be time,” he fixes the camera to make it full screen before walking towards the room door.

the chat hears you before they see you, “heyyy,” you hug jason before walking towards the desktop.
“what’s up chat!” you say smiling at waving at the monitor.
“aww you guys are so nice,” you say reading all of the comments. jason moves behind you with another chair.
“you can take my chair,” you turn to look at him.
“you sure?” you ask. he nods while pushing it towards you.
“thank you,” you say, smiling sweetly before sitting down and placing your bag in your lap.
jason grabs the mouse clicking a couple more things while talking, “we got the beautiful y/n here, we’re about to have a w stream i can already feel it,”
he turns to you, “you ready for the beach?”
you nod excitedly, “yes i bought a new swimsuit and everything! we’re getting in the water right?”
“we can do anything you want to do,” jason replies, which makes your face start to feel warm as you turn away to avoid eye contact and read the chat.
jason takes back your attention with a small clap to gather his thoughts, “okay game plan. we go to the store, grab some food for a little picnic, unless you wanna just stop at a drive thru to get food, and we can also get like some sunscreen and other beach essentials.”
you turn to him with wide eyes, “oh my gosh, i have a picnic basket in my car, we should get some sushi or sandwiches or something,”
“that low-key sounds fire. we could go to erewhon to get the sushi, you okay with that?”
“yesss let’s do it,” you say grinning at jason.
jason claps his hands excitedly before turning back to his monitor and clicking through it “alright we can ride in my car, let me set up the irl. jawhn!”
you hear someone walk through the door behind you and turn around to see jason’s cameraman fiddling with the camera gear.
“hi jawhn,” you say waving at him. the mentioned guy nods his head at you in greeting and continues trying to fix the camera. you turn back to read the comments while you wait.

“ooh someone says we should make sandcastles,” you say turning to jason, observing as he picks up things around his room.
“ooh that could be a good idea, we might have to go to a different store though,” jason replies, glancing at you.
“i’m okay with that!” you respond, smiling at his words. you pick up your bag as you watch the screen change into the irl camera. jason grabs his keys off his desk and gestures for you to follow.
he leads you out the front door and to the passenger door of his car, but you stop in your tracks. “oh wait let me grab the basket, can you take this?” you ask holding out your bag for him.
“yes ma’am,” he grabs your bag and you head towards your car, grabbing the picnic basket and blanket out of the trunk. you turn to head back towards jason's car where he has the door open for you to get in. you sit in the car putting the blanket at your feet and turn to put the basket in the back seat. by the time you are done situating yourself, jason has made it into the driver's seat, with jawhn sitting in the back to film you two.
"chat, is everything good?" jason asks aloud, causing you to pull out your phone to monitor the audience feedback which you are sure jawhn is doing as well.
"everyone says it's good," you say as jason reverses out of his parking space.
"perfect let's get to it,"
"okay which one should we get?" jason asks pointing at the selections of sushi in front of you. you bend a little to be able to read the contents of each box, trying to determine which will be the best.
"hmm, i think..." you pick up a box filled with different types of sushi and sashimi, "...this one. it has a little bit of everything,"
you move closer to jason to show him the contents of the box and he looks over your shoulder to read it with you.
"yeah, whatever you want, this looks good," he replies with a small smile. you place the sushi in the small cart as an acknowledgement of his words.

"we can probably get some drinks at the beach," you say following after jason. he leads you to the part of the store which houses the sunscreen and other outside essentials. he picks up the sunscreen while talking.
"yeah we can do that, do you want anymore snacks like dessert or anything?" you tilt your head contemplating before nodding.
"yess actually some fruit would be really nice," you lead him to the fruit section, hearing him ask the chat a few questions before putting all of his attention back on you. you select another multipack and put it in the basket.
"i think that's all," he nods at your words and makes eye contact with you.
"you sure? because you can get anything you want, it's on me,"
"i'm okay! thanks though," you reply with a chuckle. with that, jason leads you towards the checkout line to pay for the items and you take the time to read the chat.

"oh my coverup! i actually made it! 1 of 1," you answer the chat, looking at the camera which jawhn holds in front of you. jason turns around and faces you, looking down at your outfit.
"oh you made this?" he asks pointing to your crochet cover.
you smile, "yesss, it's so cute right?" you reply excitedly, doing a little spin.
"yeah, i would've never thought. it looks so good. how long did it take you?" jason asks looking genuinely curious as he waits for your response.
"not that long since it's mesh, i've made a few but i've never really gotten to wear them out," you answer walking behind him as he pushes the cart forward to stay caught up with the checkout line.
"guess we're gonna have to go to the beach more so i can see all of them," he says before making a goofy face towards the camera.
"shut up!" you exclaim as you playfully shove him.
"okay guys we have finally made it to the beach," jason exclaims as he puts the car in park. he opens the door to round the car and let you out, which you thank him for. you grab your bag and blanket while jason grabs the picnic basket, which houses the food that you bought at erewhon.
"it's so pretty out here chat!" you say as you look out into the water. jawhn points the camera towards the beach where you are looking so the chat will be able to experience what you are talking about.
you follow jason as he walks on the sand getting a fair enough distance from the water before turning to you.
"this a good spot?" he asks, continuing to survey the beach.
"this spot is perfect!" you reply, and start to lay the blanket onto the ground, burying the corners with sand. jason places your basket in the middle of the blanket while jawhn sets up the tripod to face you.
"oh shoot i forgot something in the car, can y'all stay with the chat real quick," jason asks as he stands up from the blanket.
"yes we got it," you nod, watching as jason walks off before turning back to the chat.

"guys jawhn isn't third wheeling, we're all friends," you say aloud, looking up at the mentioned person. he makes a face behind the camera causing you to laugh.
"at least i'm getting free food," he responds, his words barely being caught due to the wind. you continue to talk to the chat until jason comes back to the blanket with his hands full. your eyes widen as you recognize the items.
"oh my gosh! mangonada," you exclaim enthusiastically, holding your hands out to grab one of the three he has in the cup carrier. you take a sip and make a sound of delight.
"thanks jason," you say, reaching over to give him a little side hug when he sits.
"of course, of course, 'saw the cart when we came in and i remember you said you wanted some at erewhon," he replies before sipping a little out of his own drink.
"okay let's open the sushi," you reach into the basket pulling out the food, chopsticks, and little plates handing a pair to each person.
"you get first pick," jason says, looking at you while pointing to the sushi box.
"okay!" you pick up your plate and use your chopsticks to choose the most appetizing looking pieces. after you pick yours, the boys pick out theirs.
you eat and chat for a little with each other, people watching a bit. when you're done with your first selection of sushi, you pick out another to eat a piece of.
"ooh did you get this one?" you ask jason, pointing to the piece of sushi on your plate. jason shakes his head no.
"do you want to try it?" you respond, glancing at him.
"sure," he says. you pick up the piece of sushi and bring it towards his mouth, holding your hand under the food in case it drops. jason opens his mouth, eating the food.
"oh yeah that one is good," he mutters, his mouth still a little full.
"yeah we low-key should have got a full box of these," you say before looking back down at the chat.
"why are y'all saying kiss, we didn't kiss?" jason asks, looking at the camera confused.
"it's because y'all shared chopsticks. it's an indirect kiss," jawhn explains nonchalantly, continuing to scroll on his phone. your jaw drops at his words as you feel your face go warm.
"yo what," jason says giggling nervously.

"you full?" jason asks, watching you as you take a sip of your drink. you nod at his words.
"wanna go to the water now?" you ask him while placing the box of leftovers in the basket.
"yeah let's do it," jason helps you tidy up the blanket while jawhn picks up the camera. you take off your cover up and place it neatly on the blanket where you were sitting.
"wait what if someone steals the basket?" you wonder aloud.
jason shakes his head, "they shouldn't but if they do i'll buy you a new one,"
you shyly smile before following jason to the shore. "can you take a picture of me in the water,"
the two of you spend time on the shore getting photo ops and making jawhn record your tiktoks. you finally move further into the water enjoying the coolness as you watch the sunset.
you look at the water before smirking a little as you side eye jason, who is momentarily in his own world. you gesture jawhn to back up a little before bending down to splash the water towards jason's direction.
"what the-!" he exclaims holding his arm towards his face to block the water. he retaliates by splashing the water your way, causing you to giggle as you back away. the two of you continue your water war before jason starts making his way towards you causing you to back up quickly.
"no no no," you say laughing while backing away. you are too slow as jason reaches you, going to pick you and finally dunk you into the water. you scream and your body meets the water, continuing to laugh at his actions.
"jason!" you yell with a smile. you hold onto his neck to pull him down to make his full body wet as well.
jason picks you up with his hands under your back and legs and carries you back to the shore towards jawhn.
"found a mermaid chat," jason jokes setting you down, feet first back onto the sand.
"that was really fun," you voiced following jason back to your picnic setup.
