Can you do a story where like adapt flirting/banter, chat shipping/teasing, lots of secondhand embarrassment from chat and like for example: she brings him food or snack or even passes him a controller he would be saying teasing stuff like “thank you baby” or something like that just to annoy her but it’s not like weird between them cuz she like shuts him off quickly before it escalates. BTW I LOVE UR STORIESSSSS! :)
JUST FRIENDS! | adapt
౨ৎ warnings: a little bit of second hand embarrassment. ‘baby’ is used. use of ‘y/n’. adapt teasing and flirting with reader. italics means chat. (not proofread!!)
it was the first oficial day at streamer university. so far everything was going great, it was later in the day so everyone was mainly walking around figuring out something to do, including you. that was until you saw alex.
“hey alex” you said as he approached you and your camerawomen with gilly.
“what’s up y/n” he went in for a side hug before doing the same with your camerawomen.
“i like the glasses, they suit you a lot actually”
“thank you baby” he said casually like it was something he always said when you were together.
BABY?!?!?
nah unc still got it😭😭
y/n HIGHKEY blushing
FINALLY OMG
this better than tyb
the sponsors not gonna like this one
a photo booth picture of them is getting leaked next
you felt your face get hot, not because it made you nervous but because it made you feel embarrassed.
“what y’all been up to though?” he asked.
“we were just walking around probably going to get food”
“let’s all go. we haven’t ate yet”
“we just walked out of the caf-“ gilly started but alex was quick to cut him off.
“so how has y’all’s day been?” he quickly changed the subject as you guys began to walk to the cafeteria.
“honestly good. i heard your class was actually pretty interesting”
“oh so you were talking about me?” he had that smirk on his face that he always had.
“no, lacy was talking about you”
the walk to the cafeteria continued in normal conversation. being with alex always felt so comfortable, things just flowed with him and that was something you loved about him.
“chats saying you guys are matching” your camerawomen said smiling behind the camera.
you eyed her because you knew what she was doing.
“oh shit we are” adapt stopped walking and eyed you up and down.
“same white shirt and black pants” gilly said “did you guys plan this?”
“nah i think this is like a sign from the universe or something”
“i think it was more of a coincidence” you kept walking focusing on your phone that was in your hand.
once you all arrived to the cafeteria you picked food that caught your eye the most and found somewhere to sit. that happened to be right next to adapt.
“could you pass me a ketchup packet?” adapt asked with a hotdog in hand.
“yea of course”
“thank you baby” he repeated again loud and clear for the chat.
you side eyed him being able to see the smile he was trying to hide but couldn’t and let out a laugh anyway.
“okay alex stop” you put your face in your hands.
“what? i didn’t do anything?”
“just finish your hotdog and don’t say anything else” you looked right at your camera “guys we’re just friends i promise” you emphasized the ‘friends’.
adapt looked at gilly while making a face out of the cringe he was feeling, knowing he had just embarrassed himself even if he was joking.
yea nvm he don’t got it like that anymore
friend zoned in the big ‘26
adapt just gotta turn off his stream after that one
ceo just got friend zoned😭😭
would’ve been a great time for an ad ngl😭
during the rest of your meal everything was fine. chat obviously didn’t see it that way as they commented on every little thing you guys did.
—
“aww look at the flowers” you stopped in front of a bush covered in beautiful flowers. “they’re so pretty”.
“not as pretty as you” he made another comment.
“okay that’s enough, i’ll see you tomorrow” you turned and walked away heading to your dorm.
“i swear all the ship edits you guys are making are making his ego go up” you said as you read the chat.
meanwhile adapt had stood there with his mouth open laughing at the same time with gilly. he couldn’t believe you just walked away without arguing with him.
“why did you say it like that?”gilly couldn’t stop laughing behind the camera.
“like what?!?” he looked at him “nah hol’ on flock i think she just got nervous” adapt looked down at his chat.
biggest fumble of 2026
bros NOT starting a family with her anymore😭
oh hell nah
yea i would’ve walked away too no shade
bros the ceo and still couldn’t bag that

EXTRA CREDIT, PROFESSOR ADAPT
professor!adapt (alex) x f!streamer reader, word count: 2.0k
summary: during streamer university, reader starts noticing that professor adapt treats her a little differently than everyone else.
notes: I hope this fulfills your request anon, enjoy! marlon, ronaldo, yonna & crystal cameo, set during SU, chat is heavily involved, lots of dialogue, slow burn, mutual attraction, fluff, tension & playful flirting wink wink…
streamer university was only five days long.
five days of creators stepping into a fake college experience filled with classes and competitions, all while thousands of people watched every moment live.
and out of all the professors brought in for the week, everyone expected adapt to be the one who made the most noise.
because professor adapt wasn’t exactly what people pictured when they heard the word “professor.” he wasn’t boring. he wasn’t overly serious. he was the type of professor who would tease you for getting an answer wrong but still make sure you understood the lesson by the end.
he joked with everyone. he teased everyone. he treated every streamer the same. except, somehow, he treated you just a little differently.
it wasn’t obvious at first. not enough that anyone could call him out.
just small things.
like how he always seemed to notice when you were confused before you even raised your hand.
“you good?” he’d ask from the front of the room.
you’d look up, surprised.
“yeah, i’m just trying to figure out this part.”
and instead of moving on, he’d walk over and explain it.
“okay, look. don’t overthink it.”
you’d laugh. “i wasn’t.”
“you were.”
the class would laugh, but everyone noticed the smile he tried to hide.
especially your chat.
“why did he immediately notice her 😭”
“professor adapt has favorites”
“THE WAY HE TALKS TO HER IS DIFFERENT”
“ouuuu shiiii”
you tried ignoring them. “guys, he’s literally just doing his job.”
“no because he does his job with everyone else but he does EXTRA with you”
to be fair, they had a point…
on day one, when everyone was getting settled, adapt handed out the schedule for the week. everyone got the same information. except when you mentioned you had a stream planned after class, he reminded you about the time.
“don’t forget you’re supposed to take a break before then.”
you looked at him. “are you telling me to rest?”
“i’m telling you that you’ve been staring at a screen for six hours.”
you smiled. “are you worried about me, professor?”
the second you said it, everyone around you reacted. a few people laughed.
adapt raised his eyebrows. “careful.”
“with what?”
“making me sound nicer than I am.” adapt said.
the room laughed, but chat? destroyed.
“THE FLIRTING???”
“careful” HELPPP”
“HE KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING”
by day two, it became a joke.
everyone started noticing how often adapt ended up helping you.
if you had a question, he answered. if you got nervous before a stream segment, he was somehow the first person to tell you that you’d be fine.
“you’re overthinking again.”
you looked up at him. “you’re starting to know me a little too well.”
he held your gaze for a beat. “maybe.”
“…that’s a bit concerning.”
“only if you’re planning on giving me a reason to forget.”
you blinked at him before laughing.
“professor adapt…”
“im kidding.” he smiled. “mostly”
then, more quietly, “you’re good at this. trust yourself.”
and that was the problem.
because adapt was supposed to be the professor.
the person everyone looked up to during streamer university.
but with you, he forgot to act like he didn’t care.
by day three, the other streamers started teasing him.
in the cafeteria, marlon caught adapt looking in your direction and immediately started wiggling his eyebrows.
“what?” adapt asked.
“you know everyone thinks she’s your favorite, right?”
adapt laughed. “she’s not.”
marlon’s eyebrows only wiggled harder. “then why do you remember everything she says?”
“i remember everyone’s stuff.” adapt stated.
ronaldo looked up from his phone. “no, you don’t dude.”
adapt opened his mouth to argue, then stopped.
because he did remember. your favorite drink. the fact that you hated being put on the spot. the fact that you always tapped your fingers when you were nervous.
things a “professor” probably shouldn’t notice.
but he did, and apparently, he wasn’t as subtle as he thought. every time you spoke, his attention drifted toward you without meaning to. every time you looked uncertain, he was already answering before anyone else could.
your chat caught on first.
then everyone else did.
day four came and went in a blur. between challenges, filming, and everyone refusing to let the “favorite student” jokes die, there was a barely a moment to think.
which was why day five came faster than anyone expected.
everyone was filming their final tik toks, squeezing in one last challenge, exchanging numbers. promising to stay in touch. the university had been so loud all week suddenly carried that bittersweet feeling of something coming to an end.
you were live one last time, wandering around with your camera and giving your chat a final tour.
“it’s crazy that this is already over,” you said, panning across the room.
your chat, unsurprisingly, had other priorities.
“ASK ADAPT IF HE’LL MISS YOU”
“DO IT”
“WE NEED TO KNOWW”
you laughed, shaking your head.
“im not asking him that.”
“asking me what?” adapt said.
your stomach dropped. you turned around to see adapt standing a few feet away, an amused smile already spreading across his face.
“nothing.” you said a little too quickly.
he folded his arms. “…that sounded suspicious”
your chat immediately exploded.
“ASK HIM”
“ASK HIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMNSSHSJ”
you looked between the camera and adapt before sighing. “fine.”
you rubbed the back of your neck, suddenly finding the floor incredibly interesting.
“my chat wants to know if you’re going to miss me.”
for the first time all week, adapt didn’t answer right away.
he looked at your chat, then back at you. his smile softened.
“yeah”
your eyebrows lifted.
“of course i will.”
it was quiet. a little tooo quiet. because he wasn’t looking at the camera anymore. he was looking at you. your chat absolutely lost it.
“HE SAID YES 😭🙏”
“I KNEW IT”
“SOMEONE PLZ CLIP OMG”
“I SHIP I SHIP”
heat rushed off your face as you laughed the comment off, quickly changing the subject before your chat could make it any worse.
a little while later, the stream ended.
everyone exchanged hugs, including your friends like yonna and crystal, took one last group photo, and slowly headed home.
you figured that was it. five days, a few unforgettable memories, a handful of viral clips, new connections, potential collaborations and enough teasing to last a lifetime.
until your phone buzzed later that night.
@ADAPT:
hey
i know streamer university’s over but
i really liked getting to know you this week, would you like to grab lunch sometime?
not as professor adapt, but as alex btw.
you stared at the screen for a long moment before a smile slowly spread across your face.
for once, your chat wasn’t there to react.
no comments.
no teasing.
no one spamming that they saw it coming.
just you.
and a message from the one person you’d been trying not to think about all week.
maybe everyone had been right, maybe adapt hadn’t been giving you special treatment.
maybe, alex had simply been waiting until he wasn’t your professor anymore. ♡
summary: after not seeing each other for a few weeks, due to conflicting schedules and Alex’s ever growing list of duties, you spend some time with one another.
warnings: (1.1k wdc), established relationship, adapt is hella stressed, sappy/corny dialogue, straight fluff, somewhat proof-read so possible grammatical errors.
As much as the two of you love each other, due to Alex taking the lead and becoming the “CEO” of CORE, the two of you hadn’t been spending a lot of time together.
So, as soon as he texted letting you know he was about to end stream, you immediately began making your way to the core house.
The ride to the CORE house felt long. In reality, you only lived 20-30 minutes away, which isn’t bad considering he lives in the hills now. But that in addition to traffic, ended up making it feel like the longest car ride ever.
You were eager to see him, having not seen him in person in a few weeks due to his ever growing list of duties.
As you finally made it there, you parked up front near the entrance. All the boys know where you tend to park by now, so you weren’t worried about it in the slightest.
Walking inside the house you were met with Gilbert, laying on the livingroom sofa.
“Hey Gilly!” You said, happily. You had gotten to know Gilbert pretty well, considering he was your boyfriend’s cameraman.
“Hey (Y/n),” The man greeted back. “Adapt just ended stream.”
You smiled, grateful that you weren’t going to barge in. As public as the two of you were, his chat could be immature and would often spam mentions of TaraYummy. And you were in no position to deal with that at the moment.
“Is Alex still upstairs?” You ask, walking closer to the enormous staircase that led up to his room.
Gilbert nodded. “Yeah I think he was just gaming with the guys, most of them aren’t streaming anymore.”
You thanked Gilly and began making your way up to his room. No matter how many times you’ve been here, it’s still so surreal that he lives in this place.
You finally make it to his bedroom door, and after debating knocking, you decided it’d be funnier to just walk in.
You turn the door handle and walk inside his room. You smile as you walk closer, finding him entranced in his game. You always enjoyed watching him do something he loves, even if it’s something as simple as playing a game with his friends.
You take a step closer to him, but it seems as if he sensed you were there, because he turns around and clocks your position.
“(Y/n!)!” Alex exclaims, taking off his headset and walking over to embrace you.
He pulls you into a hug, and you can hear lingering shouting from either Ron or Jason, since he stopped playing mid game.
You keep your hands around his neck and pull him down for a kiss. It’s passionate and slow, something built from weeks of not seeing each other.
“I missed you.” You state simply, after pulling away. You then bury your head in the crook of his neck.
He exhales. “I missed you too, it feels like it’s been forever.”
You smile and the two of you stay like this for a moment; fully embraced, cozying up against one another, before he breaks it to officially end his game.
“Alright, I’ll see you guys.” He says, causing multiple of them to exclaim stuff under the lines of “Adapt’s Whipped!”
Alex responds to that by saying, “Yeah, I am and? If any of you guys had a girl like mine you’d be too.”
He then leaves the discord call and turns around in his chair to face you. “So, whatcha wanna do?”
You place a finger on your face and tap it as if you’re thinking, as you walk up to him. Once you reach him you grab his arms.
“In all honesty…” You say, dragging him off the chair and walking him over to the bed. “I’m tired.”
He laughs at your statement, before jokingly pushing you on the bed. He ends up falling down with you, as you quickly grab his arm before hitting mattress.
The two of you laugh before he says, “Yeah me too. Everything's been so exhausting recently.”
You nod your head, wanting him to continue. “Yeah?”
“Yeah. It’s like everyday I have to put up this business man front, when in reality I have no clue what I’m doing, y’know? In these calls I gotta be a completely different person, just so people will take CORE seriously.” He admits, before looking over at you.
You offer him a small smile. “I know, you’re taking on so so much Alex,” You stop for a second sitting up on the edge of the bed. “But you gotta remember here when you’re with me or just guys, you don't have be that business guy, you can just be you.”
Alex looks at you from where he’s still laying down, before he shakes his head and smiles. “How’d I end up getting you anyways?”
You laugh, before leaning down to take off your shoes. “You wanna know the truth?”
Alex ‘hmms’ as you take of the other shoe and crawl up to where he had navigated towards the headboard of the bed.
“You never faked a trickshot.” You say, causing him to burst out laughing. “What?”
“No way!” He exclaims, fully giggling at this point.
You join him in his laughter. “It’s the truth! I love myself an honest man.”
“Whatever you say,” He says, pulling you closer to him by the waist. “You wanna watch a movie? Or do you wanna just lay here for awhile.”
You stop for a moment, considering his options, befoee saying, “Both.”
Alex keeps one arm wrapped around your waist before leaning down to grab his laptop from the bottom of his nightstand.
“What movie you thinkin?”
You yawn, the exhaustion finally hitting you as your cozied up in bed, next to your boyfriend. “Anything, really.”
“You say that but if I pull up a Marvel movie you’ll tell me to switch it.” He teases, scrolling through a movie catalog.
“Hmm,” you say, quietly, before an idea hits you. “What about Spider-Man?”
He turns his head to look at you. “Which one?”
“Only the best one, of course.”
“The Amazing Spider-Man?”
You laugh softly, nodding. “Yes Alex, the Amazing Spider-Man.”
He turns his head back to the laptop, typing on the keyboard. “That’s my favorite one!”
“I know.” You say, fighting a smile on your face.
Alex eventually finds the movie and boots it up. It’s moments like this the two of you enjoy the most; when it’s just the two of you, alone, doing something as simple as watching a film.
It’s a bit further into the movie and by this point you’re almost gone. As you’re about to drift off, you hear him quietly say something.
“I meant it, what I was tryin’ to say earlier,” He says, whispering. Normally he wouldn’t say something when you’re this close to sleeping, but he just couldn’t help it. “I’m so lucky to have you.”
You hum back, agreeing with him. “I’m lucky to have you too, you sap.”

4.7k + words , angst , could perceive reader as an emotionally wise drunk or a truth-spilling drunk , however you'd like to interpret reader , fem!reader
title - go go juice , Sabrina Carpenter
series mlist
Reader hated the internet.
Every part of it. Every app, every comment section, every stupid little algorithm that somehow always knew exactly what would upset her most. But she especially hated Alex’s corner of the internet.
No matter how many times she pressed not interested, muted words, blocked fan accounts, or scrolled past as quickly as possible, clips of Alex and Tara still found their way onto her feed.
And neither of them seemed ashamed. Not even slightly.
Reader saw it everywhere—livestream clips, tweets, TikToks, edits with romantic music layered over them. Tara laughing too hard at something Alex said. Alex staring at her for just a second too long. Flirting that wasn’t even subtle anymore.
And Reader hated how much it still affected her.
Because only a week and a half ago, Alex had stood in her flat apologising. Telling her he never wanted things to end like that. Telling her there was nothing serious between him and Tara.
Another lie.
And somehow, Reader had still believed him.
Again.
The thought alone made her feel stupid.
To stop herself from spiralling completely, she’d spent the past week forcing herself to stay busy. The first four days after ending things with Alex had been miserable—barely leaving bed, crying at random moments, ignoring half her messages, surviving mostly on takeaway and wine.
But after that, she’d thrown herself into anything that kept her distracted.
Brand deals. PR events. Dinners with friends. Random influencer parties she normally would’ve avoided. She’d even started agreeing to trips and collaborations she would usually overthink for weeks beforehand.
Anything to stop herself sitting alone with her thoughts.
And honestly, it almost felt validating now. In a horrible sort of way.
Seeing Tara and Alex openly flirt online should’ve made Reader feel worse than she already did, but instead, it confirmed everything she’d spent weeks questioning.
She hadn’t been dramatic.
She hadn’t been insecure for no reason.
She hadn’t imagined any of it.
For months, she’d convinced herself she was overthinking things every time Tara flirted with Alex on stream. Every time her stomach dropped while Alex awkwardly laughed instead of shutting it down. Every time fans pointed things out online and Reader defended him anyway.
But now?
Now they weren’t even trying to hide it.
And somehow, that almost gave her peace.
Alex was the furthest thing from Reader’s mind.
At least, for most of the night.
He wasn’t in her thoughts while she sat crammed into a booth at dinner with her friends, laughing so hard her stomach hurt. He wasn’t there when they left the restaurant and wandered into some tiny hole-in-the-wall club hidden down a side street. The best kind of club, honestly. Warm amber lighting, exposed brick and cobblestone walls, old 2000s songs blasting from the DJ booth while everyone screamed the lyrics badly over each other.
For the first time in what felt like ages, Reader was only focused on herself and the people around her.
Shots appeared at the table. Then more drinks. Then even more drinks after that.
Another shot.
Another martini.
Another vodka soda.
Someone handed her something pink in a glass and she drank that too without asking questions.
By midnight, Reader was completely, hopelessly drunk.
The kind of drunk where everything became funny for no reason. The kind where walking suddenly felt unnecessarily difficult, like her legs belonged to someone else entirely.
Unfortunately, her friends were in almost the exact same state, meaning there was absolutely no responsible person around to stop Reader from wandering outside with her phone clutched loosely in her hand.
She didn’t go far. Just outside the club entrance where the cold air hit her flushed face instantly.
Reader blinked slowly at her phone screen before opening her recent calls.
Her thumb “accidentally” slipped onto Alex’s contact.
It only rang once before he answered.
Had she been sober, she probably would’ve called him pathetic for picking up that quickly.
“Reader?”
“A—lex!” she squealed, the name coming out mixed with a hiccup.
There was a brief pause. “Oh.”
Reader completely missed the disappointment in his voice. She was far too drunk to notice things like that right now.
“Hiiiii!”
“Reader,” Alex said carefully, “what are you doing?”
“Calling you, duh.”
“Yeah, I know that. How much have you had to drink?”
Reader frowned at the pavement like it personally offended her. “Uh…” She giggled slightly. “I dunno. I’m sorry.”
“No, no, don’t apologise,” Alex said quickly. “I should be apologis—” He cut himself off with a sigh. “Where are you?”
“Uhm… at a club,” Reader mumbled, looking around the street uselessly before turning back towards the entrance.
“Right. Real helpful,” Alex muttered under his breath. She could hear him moving around on the other end of the call now. “What’s the name of the club?”
“I can’t really read it,” she admitted sadly. “Everything’s blurry.”
Alex let out another sigh, though this one sounded more worried than annoyed. “Okay. Is there security or a bouncer nearby?”
Reader looked around slowly before spotting someone standing near the door. “Mhm.”
“Good. Give them your phone so I can talk to them, please.”
Reader’s face scrunched up immediately. “Why? I wanna talk to you.”
“I know,” Alex said softly. “I know you do. But I need to know you’re safe first.”
She could hear rustling on his end again, like he was already grabbing keys or shoes.
Reader’s drunk brain latched onto that immediately.
“Wait…” she said slowly. “Are you picking me up?”
Alex went quiet for half a second too long.
“Do you miss me?” Reader continued before he could answer. “Do you—”
“Reader.” His voice turned firmer suddenly. “Stop. Just for a second, please. Just find a bouncer for me.”
Her expression dropped instantly. “Okay…” she mumbled. “I’m sorry.”
“No,” Alex said immediately, his tone softening again. “Reader, don’t apologise. I shouldn’t have snapped at you like that.”
Reader nodded to herself even though he couldn’t see it, then stumbled back towards the entrance of the club in search of security while still clutching her phone tightly to her ear.
She managed to stumble her way over to one of the bouncers near the entrance, nearly tripping over the uneven pavement in the process.
“Hi,” she said far too brightly. “My ex-boyfriend wants to talk to you.”
The bouncer blinked at her for a second before slowly taking the phone from her hand.
“Hello?” he said cautiously into the speaker.
Reader swayed slightly where she stood, arms folded loosely across herself against the cold while the music from inside the club thumped through the walls behind her.
She couldn’t properly hear what Alex was saying, only the low murmur of his voice through the speaker. The bouncer nodded a few times before glancing over at her.
“Yeah, she’s alright,” he said. “Very drunk, though.”
She frowned. “That’s rude.”
The bouncer laughed quietly despite himself.
A minute later, he handed the phone back to her. “Your boyfriend’s coming to get you.”
Her face immediately twisted. “He’s not my boyfriend.”
The bouncer lifted both hands in surrender. “Alright, alright.”
Reader pressed the phone back to her ear as she wandered over to lean against the brick wall beside the club entrance.
“He called you my boyfriend,” she informed Alex seriously.
Alex actually laughed softly on the other end of the line, and the sound hit her harder than she expected. She hadn’t realised how much she missed hearing him laugh until now.
“Did he?”
“Mhm. I corrected him.”
“Good to know.”
Reader smiled faintly to herself before her expression slowly dropped again. Drunk emotions came fast and hard, and suddenly she felt strangely close to crying.
“You didn’t block me,” she mumbled quietly.
Alex went silent for a moment. “Neither did you.”
She looked down at the pavement beneath her shoes. “I tried to hate you.”
The confession slipped out before she could stop it.
Alex let out a slow breath. “Reader…”
“I’m serious,” she continued, words slightly slurred now from both the alcohol and exhaustion. “I unfollowed you everywhere. I blocked Tara. I kept telling myself I never wanted to speak to you again.” She laughed weakly. “And then I got drunk and called you anyway.”
Alex stayed quiet long enough that Reader almost thought the call had disconnected.
Finally, he spoke softly. “I’ve missed you too.”
Her chest tightened painfully at the admission.
She squeezed her eyes shut for a second, leaning her head back against the cold brick wall behind her.
“This is so pathetic,” she whispered.
“No, it’s not.”
“Yes, it is,” Reader mumbled. “You hurt me and I still miss you. That’s embarrassing.”
“You missing me doesn’t make you embarrassing.” His voice sounded quieter now too. More careful. “It just means you cared about me.”
She swallowed hard, suddenly wishing she wasn’t drunk enough for all her emotions to feel this close to the surface.
Across the street, headlights turned the corner before slowing near the club.
She frowned slightly. “Is that you?”
“Probably,” Alex admitted. “Can you see my car?”
She squinted dramatically at the road before spotting it properly. “Oh my God, it is you.”
Alex laughed softly again. “Stay where you are, alright? I’m coming over.”
Reader watched him cross the street towards her, hands shoved into the pockets of his hoodie as the cold night air moved through his hair.
And for one horrible second, it felt painfully normal.
Like this was just another night where Alex had come to pick her up after drinks. Like they hadn’t ended things. Like Tara had never happened.
She hated how comforting that thought felt.
Alex stopped in front of her, immediately looking her over carefully to make sure she was alright. His expression softened slightly when he realised she really was just drunk and emotional rather than hurt.
“Jesus,” he muttered quietly. “How much did you drink?”
Reader pointed vaguely towards the club behind her. “A lot.”
“Clearly.”
She frowned at him. “Don’t judge me.”
“I’m not judging you,” Alex said, though he looked like he was trying not to laugh. “I’m just trying to work out if you’re gonna throw up in my car.”
She gasped dramatically. “I would never.”
Alex finally laughed properly at that, shaking his head a little before stepping closer. “C’mon.”
Without really thinking about it, he reached for her hand.
The second his fingers wrapped around hers, both of them seemed to freeze slightly.
Reader’s stomach twisted painfully. Because even now, after everything, holding his hand still felt natural. Familiar.
Alex seemed to realise it too. His grip loosened slightly, like he was about to pull away.
But she held on first.
Just for a second.
Alex looked down at her quietly, his expression unreadable beneath the orange glow of the streetlights.
“You’re staring,” Reader mumbled.
“You’re drunk.”
“Okay, and?”
Alex huffed out a soft laugh before guiding her carefully towards the passenger side of the car. He opened the door for her automatically, another habit neither of them had managed to break yet.
Reader climbed in clumsily before looking up at him again. “You still care about me.”
It wasn’t a question.
Alex paused halfway through shutting the door.
“Reader…”
“You do,” she insisted softly. “I can tell.”
For a second, he just looked tired. Emotionally exhausted in a way Reader recognised because she felt it too.
“Of course I still care about you,” he admitted quietly.
Her chest tightened again at the honesty in his voice.
“Then why did you let me go?” she asked before she could stop herself.
Alex shut the car door gently without answering.
And somehow, the silence hurt even more than the answer probably would have.
“You didn’t answer my question,” Reader mumbled once Alex finally got into the driver’s seat.
Alex glanced at her briefly before starting the car. “It’s the kind of question I’d rather answer when you’re sober. So you actually remember it.”
Reader frowned immediately. “I remember everything I do when I’m drunk.”
Alex let out a quiet laugh under his breath as he pulled away from the curb. “You really don’t.”
“Yes, I do.”
“You absolutely don’t.”
Reader crossed her arms stubbornly, nearly losing balance against the seatbelt in the process. “Name one time I forgot something I did drunk, then.”
Alex’s mouth twitched slightly like he already knew she wouldn’t like the answer.
“Silky’s party.”
Reader scoffed instantly and rolled her eyes. “Nothing happened at that party.”
Alex actually laughed properly this time. “Reader, a lot happened at that party.”
“Like what?” she challenged.
Alex glanced at her again briefly before looking back at the road. “You kissed me.”
Reader blinked at him. “No, I didn’t.”
“You did.”
“I think I would remember kissing you, actually.”
Alex shook his head slightly, clearly amused despite himself. “Well, you don’t.”
Reader stared at him suspiciously for a few seconds, trying to dig through her blurry memories of that night. All she really remembered was dancing with friends, arguing with someone over music, and waking up with the worst headache of her life the next morning.
“You’re lying.”
“I’m not.”
“Alex.” Reader pointed accusingly at him. “If I kissed you, I definitely would’ve remembered it.”
“That’s what I thought too.”
Reader narrowed her eyes. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Alex sighed softly through a smile. “It means you spent half the night insisting you didn’t like me, then dragged me into the kitchen and kissed me ten minutes later.”
Reader’s jaw dropped slightly. “I would never do that.”
“You absolutely did.”
“No. Nope. Didn’t happen.”
Alex laughed again, quieter this time, and Reader hated how much she’d missed hearing that sound.
“You even got annoyed because I laughed afterwards,” he added. “You told me I was ruining the moment.”
Reader covered her face with both hands immediately. “Oh my God.”
“There we go,” Alex said smugly. “That reaction tells me you’re starting to remember.”
“I hate you.”
“No, you don’t.”
The words slipped out casually, but the second they landed between them, the atmosphere in the car shifted slightly.
Reader slowly lowered her hands from her face and looked over at him.
Alex seemed to realise what he’d said a second too late, his grip tightening slightly against the steering wheel.
Because the worst part was… he was probably right.
Reader wanted to hate him. She’d spent weeks trying to.
But sitting here beside him now, drunk and emotional while he drove her home like he’d done dozens of times before, hatred felt impossible.
Complicated? Yes. Painful? Absolutely.
But not hatred.
Reader looked down at her lap quietly before mumbling, “That’s the problem.”
“I am sorry, Reader,” Alex said quietly after a long stretch of silence. “I really am.”
Reader kept her gaze fixed out the passenger window, watching blurry streetlights pass by one after another. LA looked strange at night when she was this drunk. Too bright and too distant all at once.
“I don’t know if I believe you anymore,” she mumbled eventually.
Alex’s hands tightened slightly around the steering wheel. “Why not?”
Reader let out a tired laugh under her breath. “Seriously?”
She finally looked over at him properly.
“Because every single clip I see of you lately is you flirting with Tara,” she said softly. “Even after you stood in my flat telling me there was ‘nothing serious’ going on between you two.” She swallowed hard. “Those clips just completely contradict everything you told me that night.”
Alex went quiet immediately.
Reader looked away from him again before continuing. “And maybe I could’ve handled it if it was just one clip. But it’s not. It’s everywhere.”
She laughed weakly to herself. “Do you know how humiliating it is opening TikTok and seeing edits of the two of you?”
“Reader—”
“No, seriously.” Her voice cracked slightly now. “People are literally shipping you together publicly while I’m sat there feeling like some stupid ex-girlfriend who got replaced overnight.”
“You weren’t replaced.”
Reader scoffed softly. “Sure doesn’t look that way.”
Alex sighed heavily, glancing at her briefly before looking back at the road. “It’s not as simple as it looks online.”
“That’s exactly what you said the first time,” Reader pointed out quietly.
That shut him up for a moment.
Reader rubbed tiredly at her eyes before leaning her head against the cold window beside her. “I just don’t understand how you went from saying you loved me to publicly acting like that with her barely a week later.”
Alex’s jaw tightened slightly. “I didn’t plan for any of this.”
“But you’re still letting it happen.”
The words hung heavily in the car.
Reader could tell Alex was trying to think of something to say, but honestly, she wasn’t even sure there was a right answer anymore.
After a moment, Alex spoke again, quieter this time. “Do you really think I never cared about you?”
Reader’s chest ached immediately at the question.
Because that was the problem.
She knew he cared about her. In his own messy, emotionally confusing way, he definitely had.
But caring about someone and treating them properly weren’t always the same thing.
Reader looked down at her hands in her lap. “I think you cared about me when it was easy,” she admitted softly. “But the second things got complicated, you stopped fighting for me properly.”
Alex visibly flinched at that.
And Reader hated that part of her still felt bad for hurting him, even now.
“But I also think,” Reader continued quietly, “that you genuinely don’t know the difference between caring about someone and actually treating them the way they deserve to be treated.”
Alex stayed silent beside her.
“With care,” she said softly. “And love.”
The last word caught slightly in her throat.
Reader swallowed hard and turned her head towards the window again before she could say anything else. Streetlights blurred together outside as the car moved through the empty roads, her reflection faintly visible in the glass.
“And I…”
Her voice faded off completely.
A sharp breath caught in her chest as she pressed her lips together tightly, suddenly regretting how much she’d already admitted tonight.
Beside her, Alex loosened one hand from the steering wheel slightly before gripping it again.
“Finish what you were going to say,” he murmured.
There was no irritation in his voice. No pressure. He sounded like he genuinely wanted to hear it, even if it hurt.
Reader shut her eyes briefly. “I don’t know if I can handle being cared about like that anymore.”
Alex frowned slightly. “What do you mean?”
Reader laughed quietly to herself, though it sounded more sad than amused. “You cared about me enough to keep me around,” she admitted. “Enough to text me constantly, take me out, tell me you loved me…”
Her throat tightened again.
“But never enough to make me feel secure.”
The car fell silent after that.
Reader could practically feel the guilt radiating off him beside her, but she forced herself to keep talking anyway because if she stopped now, she knew she wouldn’t start again.
“I spent months trying to make myself smaller so I wouldn’t scare you off,” she whispered. “I acted chill about things that were actually hurting me because I didn’t want you thinking I was dramatic or difficult.”
Alex looked genuinely pained hearing that. “Reader…”
“No, it’s true.” She shook her head slightly. “I let myself settle for half of what I wanted because I thought eventually you’d give me the other half on your own.”
Alex’s jaw tightened as he stared ahead at the road.
“And maybe that’s my fault too,” Reader admitted quietly. “Because I should’ve walked away the first time I realised I was begging for things that should come naturally when someone really wants you.”
The words seemed to hit Alex hard enough to physically tense beside her.
Reader looked down at her hands again. “I loved you properly,” she whispered. “And I don’t think you realised how much responsibility comes with being loved like that.”
For a moment, Alex didn’t say anything at all.
Then, very quietly, almost like it hurt him to admit it, he said:
“I think you’re right.”
Reader sucked in a slow breath, nodding faintly as she stared down at her hands.
Hearing Alex agree with her should’ve felt satisfying somehow. Like confirmation that she hadn’t imagined everything. But instead, it just made her chest ache more.
The car was quiet for a few seconds before she finally spoke again.
“Why did you only try to fight for us when I asked you to leave?” she asked softly. “Even after you were the one saying we should break things off.”
Alex’s grip shifted slightly against the steering wheel. He looked exhausted now, emotionally worn down in the same way Reader felt.
“Because…” He paused briefly, like he was trying to figure out how to explain it properly. “Truthfully, I only said I wanted to end things because I didn’t want you getting dragged into whatever drama was coming.”
Reader frowned slightly but stayed quiet, letting him continue.
“I knew people were already talking,” Alex admitted. “About me. About Tara. About you. And I panicked.” He laughed weakly to himself. “I thought if I ended things first, maybe I could protect you from it getting worse.”
Reader looked over at him properly then. “You really thought breaking my heart was protecting me?”
Alex winced immediately. “When you say it like that, it sounds awful.”
“Because it was awful, Alex.”
“I know.” His voice dropped quieter. “I know that now.”
Reader leaned back slightly against the seat, listening while he spoke.
“I realised way too late that it wasn’t my choice to make for you,” he continued. “You should’ve had the chance to decide whether you wanted to deal with all of it alongside me.”
The honesty in his voice made something painful twist in Reader’s chest again.
“But by the time I figured that out,” Alex said softly, “you’d already made up your mind.”
Reader swallowed hard.
“And honestly…” Alex glanced at her briefly before looking back at the road. “If I’d realised it earlier, I don’t think we’d be sitting here having this conversation right now.”
Reader’s heart stuttered painfully at that.
Because part of her immediately wanted to ask what he meant by it. Whether he would’ve made things official. Whether he would’ve chosen her properly if he’d just gotten out of his own head sooner.
But another part of her already knew those questions wouldn’t help anymore.
So instead, she looked back out the window and asked quietly, “Then why didn’t you say any of that that night?”
Alex let out a slow breath. “Because I was scared.”
Reader laughed softly under her breath. “You know, for someone who spends his entire life online in front of thousands of people, you’re unbelievably bad at talking about your actual feelings.”
Alex smiled faintly at that, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Yeah. I’ve noticed.”
Reader shook her head slightly. “You could’ve just talked to me.”
“I know.”
“And I probably still would’ve stayed.”
That seemed to hit him harder than anything else she’d said tonight.
Alex looked genuinely upset hearing it. “Reader…”
“It’s true,” she admitted quietly. “That’s the pathetic part.”
“No,” Alex said immediately. “It isn’t pathetic to love someone.”
Reader looked over at him then, eyes tired and glossy beneath the passing streetlights.
“Maybe not,” she whispered. “But it hurts when they don’t know what to do with it.”
Alex went quiet after that.
Not defensive. Not frustrated. Just quiet in the sort of way that made Reader think her words had actually settled somewhere deep inside him.
The car continued moving through the near-empty streets, the low sound of the engine filling the silence between them.
Reader rested her head back against the seat, suddenly exhausted. The alcohol was starting to hit her differently now — less loud and fun, more heavy and emotional.
After a while, Alex spoke again.
“I really did love you, you know.”
Reader’s chest tightened immediately.
She gave a small nod but didn’t look at him. “I know.”
Because that was the worst part of all this. If she genuinely believed Alex had never cared about her, moving on probably would’ve been easier. Cleaner.
But she knew he had loved her. In the only way he seemed to know how.
It just hadn’t been enough.
“I don’t think you’re a bad person,” Reader admitted quietly after a moment. “I think you’re just emotionally stupid.”
Alex let out a breath that almost sounded like a laugh. “That might be the nicest insult anyone’s ever given me.”
Reader smiled faintly despite herself before it faded again just as quickly.
“You hurt me anyway.”
“I know.” His voice sounded rough now. “And I hate that I did.”
Reader looked down at her lap again. “Do you actually like Tara?”
The question slipped out before she could stop it.
Alex went still beside her for a second.
Reader immediately regretted asking. “Forget it.”
“No,” Alex said quietly. “You deserve an honest answer.”
Reader’s stomach twisted painfully as she waited.
“I think…” He paused carefully. “I think after everything blew up, I leaned into it because it was easier than dealing with what happened between us.”
Reader frowned slightly. “That’s not really an answer.”
“I know.” Alex sighed softly. “I care about her. But not like I cared about you.”
The words should’ve made Reader feel better. Somehow, they didn’t.
Because if Alex supposedly cared about her more, then why had she still ended up here? Sitting half-drunk in his passenger seat trying not to cry over someone who never fully chose her?
Reader laughed quietly to herself, though it sounded tired more than amused. “God, this is messy.”
“Yeah,” Alex admitted softly. “It is.”
They stopped at a red light, and for the first time since picking her up, Alex properly looked over at her again.
“You deserved better from me,” he said quietly.
Reader held his gaze for a moment before looking away again.
“I know.”
The car moved again as the light turned green, neither of them saying anything for a while.
Reader kept her head turned towards the window, watching the city blur past in soft streaks of orange and white. Her reflection stared back at her faintly in the glass, tired eyes, messy hair, makeup slightly smudged from earlier in the night.
She didn’t feel drunk anymore. Just drained.
Alex drove more slowly now, like he was giving her space to think. Or maybe he just didn’t know what else to say.
After a few minutes, Reader spoke quietly again.
“I think I’m angry at myself as much as I’m angry at you.”
Alex glanced at her briefly but didn’t interrupt.
“I keep thinking I should’ve left sooner,” she admitted. “The first time I felt like I was waiting for you to choose me properly. The first time I saw those clips and told myself I was being paranoid.”
Her fingers tightened slightly in her lap.
“But I didn’t. I stayed. And I made excuses for you.”
Alex’s grip tightened on the steering wheel again. “Reader, you didn’t—”
“Yes, I did,” she cut in softly, though there was no anger in it now. Just honesty. “I wanted it to work so badly that I ignored everything that was making me feel small.”
Silence settled again.
A few seconds passed before Alex spoke, his voice quieter than before. “I never wanted you to feel small.”
“I know,” Reader replied. “That’s why it’s so confusing.”
She finally turned her head slightly towards him.
“You weren’t cruel,” she said. “You weren’t malicious. You were just…” She paused, searching for the right word. “Unclear.”
Alex let out a quiet breath. “That sounds about right.”
Reader gave a faint nod before leaning her head back again.
“I think that’s what hurts the most,” she admitted. “It wasn’t one big moment where everything fell apart. It was just… lots of small ones that I kept ignoring.”
Alex stayed quiet, letting her talk.
“And now I can’t tell if I miss you,” she added after a moment, voice softer, “or if I just miss what I thought this could’ve been.”
That seemed to land heavily between them.
Alex didn’t respond straight away.
Instead, he drove for a while in silence before finally speaking.
“I miss you,” he said quietly.
Reader closed her eyes for a second at that, exhaling slowly.
“I know,” she replied.
This time, there was no confusion in her voice. Just acceptance.
Missing each other wasn’t the problem anymore.
They both knew that.

streamer x youtuber
!16+
warnings: smut!, dirty talking on both sides, kissing, daddy talk (nickname), kissing on body, cl!t play, handjob on female, finger in mouth, male dominanting, edging, p in v unprotected, finishing inside.
You’re a YouTuber. On YouTube you mostly do vlogs, routines and sometimes videogames. When you do those video games you do it with your boyfriend, Alex better known as Adapt on the internet.
Alex and you’ve been dating since a few years when you met each other on an Youtube event. You just started vlogging and blew up, you knew some of the streamers. Thats how you got to know each other. Without even noticing you both ended up in the same friendgroup. It turned out into a relationship.
The internet loved you both. He appeared on your vlogs and you appeared on his streams. The perfect couple.
—
At this day you were vlogging around, just a day in the life. You went to the mall to grab some things that were needed. Tonight you’d go to the CORE house. Alex was the ceo of the content group and lived there with his friends.
You made your way to the house and walked in since the door was unlocked. “Mom is back!” You announced. The boys would call you mom since they called Alex daddy, because he was the oldest. Plus you took care of them if they needed help.
Ron, Lacy and Alex were in the living room, lounging on the couch as you walked in, they laughed at your entry. “Heyy mommm” Ron said with a chuckle.
Lacy waved as he was too busy eating (of course). Alex looked at you, damn you looked hot in those shorts.
“Heyy guyss.” you replied and sat next to Alex. You did notice his look, he was looking like that. “Baby?” you said softly and pecked his lips.
“Love.” He held you back in the kiss, not letting you break it. Alex was in a mood, that mood.
“Ay don’t fuck on our couch!” Lacy joked. Ron laughed.
You pulled away. “Damn what’s gotten into you hm?” You teased Alex and ruffled your hand in his hair.
“Better to ask what i want to put in you.” He replied with no shame.
You gasped, shook at his dirtiness.
Both guys were amazed by their friend. Saying it like that? Brave.
“Yeah Lacy, let’s go before we get traumatised.” Ron said standing up leaving. Lacy followed him and added. “Still don’t fuck on our couch!”
Alex laughed at them and yelled “I’ll leave a rubber souvenir behind”
“Alex! You got a filthy mouth on you today!” You softly slapped his arm as he was behaving naughty.
“Ow Babe. Sorry that i appreciate my girl that looks fucking beautiful, as always” He grinned as he tapped your butt, drunk at the sight of you. No nonchalant bone in that body of his
“Talking about my face or my bum?” You questioned him jokingly.
“Both.” He mumbled and kissed your neck, collarbone, moving down..
You bit your bottom lip, it felt so good. But no! Not on the couch where anybody could walk in.
“Alex..not here.” You mumbled back even though his lips felt so amazing and tugged at his hair softly.
Alex looked up at you, the guy had every possible feeling in his expression.
“Mmh then in my room.” He told you, without hesitation he lifted you up into his arms, carrying you in bridal style.
He carried you upstairs to his room, laying you on his bed carefully. Diving in to kiss you.
“Alex.” you stopped him, although you wanted him so badly.
“Yes baby?” He asked backing off, if you didn’t want to it was okay with him.
“I want to kiss you all night, trust me all night. But i need to finish my vlog, i got to sent it to my editor.” You explained to him and pecked a kiss as you sat up.
“My hardworking girl hm?” He said softly with a grin. The passion you had in your job was so cute.
You smiled at him. “You should take notes on that” teasing him since he streamed whenever he wanted too.
“The shade at mee” He cried out jokingly, laying back on his bed.
You giggled as he quickly leaned up to kiss you and he wasn’t scared of a little touch..
—
Now you were talking to your camera in his bathroom. Doing your night time routine, makeup removing, skincare and hair care. You had your stuff here too anyway.
Alex was waiting in his room, this took so damn long. He stood up and walked towards his bathroom.
“This moisturiser is my holy grail-“ You showed the camera the moisturiser before getting stopped by Alex walking into the bathroom.
“Go on, im just watching my girl” he explained why he was here and sat on the side of the bathtub behind you.
“Alex joined in too, because im probably taking too long.” You told the camera and chuckled as you applied the moisturiser
He just watched you do your thing, entertained by simple things you did.
—
After you finished your little routine and sent your editor the footage, you went to join him in his bed, he was scrolling on his phone.
“There’s my dessert.” He smirked and put his phone away
After all his filthy flirting, you decided to just do it too, why not? he wrapped his arm around you pulling you close.
“Rude, i gotta let you eat dessert without me getting hydrated?” You said ‘offended’
Oh he loved that comment, you giving the same energy.
“Can’t leave my girl thirsty can i? Those beautiful lips .” He said and went in to kiss you
“Which lips?” you asked sooo innocently.
“Both are beautiful can kiss both.” He grinned as he pulled you on his lap kissing you everywhere he could reach.
From your lips to your jaw, neck, collarbone before reaching to your cleavage. He looked up at you with those eyes ‘Can i?’
You looked down at him he was so good with his lips, those brown eyes you could never resist. Nodding at his question he reached to kiss your cleavage, you threw your head back for him to have more access
“I could kiss you all day and night.” He breathed out as he went to leave love bites up towards your collarbone again.
“Fuck me all day and night instead” You muttered out what more sounded like a moan as you had your head thrown back.
“No need to ask me twice.” before you could respond to him he unbuttoned your shirt open. You were so prepared for this so you wore his favourite bra of yours. A lace black bra that complimented your features perfectly.
“Fuck.” He cursed at the sight. His pants tightening even more if that was even possible, you gave that effect to him.
“Whaaat?” you smirked, knowing he loved that bra.
“You’re actually going to leave me breathless one day” He looked up at you as he said it, seeing your smirk? Such a tease his girl.
Alex took his shirt off, it was getting so hot even though it was a chilly night. You watched him, fuck he was so fine..
He kissed you again after he threw his shirt to god knows where, already undressing you and himself in the process.
Alex broke the kiss as his hands were at your underwear “Lift your hips for me love” he told you with a groggy voice.
Lifting your hips for him he took your underwear off. Without doing anything he took his own off too. He kissed you again.
You felt his hardend shaft rubbing against your core, he did it on purpose fucking tease he was. And on top of that his hand traveled to the most sensitive place of all your body, the clit. He rubbed his thumb in circles making you moan.
“Shh..” he whispered applying more pressure and entering his two fingers into his favourite hole, making you roll your eyes back in pleasure.
“Can’t let the guys hear you hm?” he added as he travelled his other hand to your mouth and parted your lips with his thumb and pointer finger and put his pointer finger in your mouth.
Biting and sucking his finger trying to hold back loud sounds coming out of your mouth. He was fucking hard at the sight of you.
One thing he did was edging you bad, whenever you’d almost come and started to clench he slowed down.
“Fuck you.” You moaned out frustrated.
Alex chuckled deeply at the frustrated look on your face “Can do that.”
You opened your eyes after almost having that sweet release. He was already positioning himself. Before he pushed in he quickly checked in with you, he always wanted you to be comfortable. “You alright love?” He asked holding eye contact.
“Alex if you don’t do something in the next five seconds I’ll literally grab my viberator.” You quite literally threatened the poor guy, you were so frustrated.
“You ain’t using that fucker while i am here.” He said and pushed in, fully. Making you remind what you had.
Something between a moan or a cry came out of your mouth, maybe both? Alex shut you up with a kiss as he himself groaned at the wetness and tightness.
When he knew you adjusted to his size, he started moving, the bed creaking under you two, skin to skin slapping, sounds out of both mouths, kissing sounds.
You had your one hand in his hair the other was scratching his back. His hands were all over the place.
While kissing and moving you felt that pit in your lower stomach, you were so close.
“Alex, im close” you managed to breath out against his lips.
“Fuck, me too love, come with me” He groaned as he started to move even faster, the kissing got more messy.
The edge was reached, you felt like you were in the clouds. Shutting your eyes at your sweet release, moaning his name, scratching his back with the nails that had his initial on it.
At the feelings of your release, you clenched what made him reach his high. He grunted as he came, his warm fluid followed. He collapsed on top of you, heavy breathing as he calmed down.
You both laid there in eachother’s arms calming down at the fun activity but oh so tiring activity.
