as the only female member of core, you've felt yourself be looked over a lot. you joined a little later which meant that not only your og fans had to get used to the switch but the other core communities had to get used to your dynamic with the group.

in spite of this, you still attended the in-person auditions with ron, lacy, jason, and marlon. it was your first time ever meeting kai in person and although you were nervous, you still let your most authentic self show, making kai laugh naturally and conveying your consistency as a streamer.

although you knew the in-person auditions were mostly for content, you were still quite relieved that instead of straight up denying you for the clip, he presented you with a stay in touch stamp.

and now here you were. sitting patiently with your chat watching as kai himself reveals all of the names that were selected to participate in the event.

"thank you for the kind words chat, i really appreciate it," you say with a smile, reading through the comments. he starts with professors and you smile and clap in surprise as adapt is revealed on the board.

“oh my gosh adapt is gonna be a teacher love that,” you say continuing to clap.

then comes silky, who you kinda guessed based off the song chosen before his name was revealed. you laughed as you watched silky start to get up and dance and got up to join him in the moment as his name was finally shown.

running downstairs you’re met with the sounds of everyone congratulating silky. you step in to the frame to clap for him but stay mostly out of the way so you don’t get pushed over by the other boys who jump on him.

once everyone moves out of the way, you give silky simple hug that he returns with a smile before making your way back upstairs to listen for the next name to be revealed.

you sit back at your desktop, continuing to smile as you listen to kai list off the facts about silky.

"y'all are right, we got this!" you reply to the chat's comments you say clapping excitedly while continuing to watch. only your hype level dims a little as kai goes a full row without revealing any other core members. you still continue to clap for every person accepted and cheer for those that you specifically recognize.

"let's see who's next," you mumble watching as kai pulls off the red slip of paper. your eyes widen as you recognize the name 'marlon'.

"oh my gosh, marlon!" you yell as you abandon your setup to run down the hall to where the mentioned man is reacting with lacy.

“yayy,” you squeal running in to join the celebration. once again, you wait for everyone to stop jumping before squeezing in to give him a quick hug. you turn around to make your way back to your desktop.

“three down, four to go,” you say with a small exhale as you sit back in your chair.

more reveals pass before you hear kai say, “next! i need everybody to sing with me,”

your eyes widen and you sit up, glancing at your chat. “ooh who could it be?” you ask aloud, scanning the comments.

“oh what if it is ron,” you watch as kai switches his outside mic to his headset and your suspicions are confirmed when he in fact does start to play and sing along to payphone, revealing ron’s name under the yellow paper.

“yayyy ron!” you jump again to run down the hallway to congratulate your group member. the rest of the boys are embracing him aggressively, causing you to laugh aloud as you stand in the back clapping. you patiently wait your turn to give your signature hug to ron, who accepts it with a smile.

making your way back to your setup you chuckle as you can hear ron facetiming kai about his acceptance. you pull your chair back to your setup, sighing as you feel the nerves build even higher.

“dang guys i kinda wish i had a theme song too, silky and ron got cool reveals,” you say, responding to a few messages on your phone before focusing in back on the stream.

you hear a knock on the door behind you and turn to yell 'come in'. you are met with the sight of adapt who walks in with a smile.

"oh hey adapt! congratulations, i'm so excited for you," you say, clapping as you announce him to the chat. you fix your camera to zoom out a little so that the viewers can see him.

"thank you," he replies coming to stand next to your chair. he greets the chat and watches as it moves faster to greet him.

"you gotta make sure to come to class though," he says playfully turning to watch your facial expression.

you laugh, shrugging your shoulders, "i don't even know if i'm on the roster," you respond with a semi-nervous smile as you meet his eyes.

he shakes his head with a quiet chuckle, "you're getting in don't even worry,"

"i appreciate your encouragement," you say with a small smile.

"of course, do you need anything?" he asks getting ready to walk out the door.

“i’m okay! my water bottle is still full,” you reply, waving him off.

“okay i’ll see you later. bye chat,” he finishes with a wave before walking out of your room and shutting the door.

“so sweet,” you say, fixing the camera to be in its original angle.

you fiddle with your fingers as you watch more names get revealed. your heart warms watching all of the reactions of the people responding to their acceptances.

“i’m not nervous chat im just waiting patiently,” you say with a chuckle as you read the comments.

you look down at your fingers which you are indeed fiddling with, separating them dramatically. you roll your eyes playfully.

“you guys act like you know me,” you said playfully, but still held up your hands in a heart shape towards the camera.

“okay let’s see who’s left,” you announced, going quiet once again to continue watching the board.

“open jason’s stream?” you read one of the comments before doing so. you see ron and jason sitting side by side also watching the picks live.

“i feel this one, it’s gonna be you,” ron says to jason, hovering over his shoulder. you all watch as kai pulls the paper to reveal someone who is not jason, making him push ron out of the way. you chuckle at his reaction, picking up your drink to take a sip.

setting your drink back down you speak, “it’s okay jason we’ll get in.”

you continue to watch the reveal through iason’s stream, getting ready for kai to pull the next paper before he suddenly turns toward the desktop to pick out a mystery song. the familiar tune of kung fu fighting turns on causing both you and jason to focus in on who will be called.

kai rips off the red paper and reveals the selected pick is in fact ‘jasontheween’.

“jasonnn,” you yell, immediately jumping up to run to his room.

“woooo!” you shout clapping your hands when your eyes meet jason who is happily jumping in front of his monitor.

you run up to hug him softly before quickly moving out of the way for ron who aggressively holds on to his back.

you laugh at the scene, standing next to silky who is watching as well. he turns to you smiling, “you know you’re next right?”

you shrug wordlessly at his words, giving him a little side hug before beginning to make an exit back to your room.

“wait let’s go to lacy’s room so we can all be together when you or him get picked,” you hear silky say over your shoulder causing you to turn back around.

“aww that should a fun, let me go grab my phone and switch my ingest,” you walk back to your desktop, quickly straightening up and switching to lacy’s stream. you grab your confetti popper and read a couple comments before you go.

“alright chat we are going to lacy’s room,”

you walk down the hall, humming as you finally make your way to his door and spot everyone crowded around his monitor. ron spots you and pulls a chair for you to sit in between him and lacy. you thank him and get comfy, placing your confetti popper underneath the desk.

together, your group watches and cheers for the many people who are continuously revealed on the list of students. you finally make it down a full row before kai pulls a yellow paper, showing lacy’s name under it.

the five of you immediately crowd lacy, cheering him on as his name is revealed. you smile brightly as you give him a little hug and clap. ron softly pushes you backwards and put his arm in front of you to grab lacy’s head and hit it in the desk. your eyes widen at his actions and you push his arm away.

“let’s switch to y/n’s room now,” ron says standing up next to you.

“i don’t know guys it looks like he already accepted a lot of girl streamers,” you say fidgeting with your hands.

silky makes a face at you, pulling your hand to help you stand up. “y/n now you know…”

“let’s go!” lacy says, using his wheelchair to lead the charge. jason grabs the confetti popper under the table and you all make your way towards your room.

you switch the ingest back to your desktop camera and take a seat in your chair, opening kai’s stream back up.

“drop a 1 if you’re ready for y/n to be accepted,” ron speaks, you all watch the chat spam at his request and it causes you to smile. you throw up a finger heart and continue to watch the stream.

you listen and react to about ten more names before kai suddenly pauses when peaking at the next name behind the yellow piece of paper. you feel yourself sit up as he types at his computer, assuming that he is picking a song.

you hear the opening of ‘cinderella’ by mac miller start to play through his speakers and sink a little further down because you don’t really know how that song will be associated with you but still try to have hope. the guys crowd around your chair as they are also waiting for kai’s next move.

kai skips to the build up of the song and waits until the lyric, ‘i’ve been waiting all night for this moment,’ pulling the yellow rectangle and yelling your name.

“y/nnnnn!” the boys instead start to cheer around you surrounding you in a group hug. jason pops the confetti to fall down on top and you feel your face start to hurt from from how hard you are smiling. you keep your eye on the monitor watching as kai switches to watch your reaction and you wave at the camera.

“thank you so much! we did it!” your excitement is unable to be contained as you jump up continuing to be happy for the events to come. your group all stands and jumps in a circle excitedly as you now have all been confirmed to be attending streamer university.

you all finally take a break from jumping and you sit to catch your breath from all the adrenaline that raced through your body.

“guys i almost thought i got hyped for nothing,” you say fanning your face.

“no we all knew it was you, the intuition came through,”

“group hug!” marlon shouts racing towards you. the boys all crowd around where you sit and squeeze you playfully before letting go.

“aye, im not gonna lie, i am not going to adapt’s class,” ron jokes, causing you to burst out laughing.

we had all decided to turn off stream for the night. as we had all—but adapt—said we were going to stream 24/7 but by night 3 we decided we were all exhausted and needed a break from the cameras.

we all sat outside enjoying the fresh air of the night.

“i did not expect to be this tired” you said sighing as you sat down next to jason.

“i don’t even wanna stream tomorrow” ron rubbed his hands on in face.

“that’s why i told y’all not to do 24/7” a laugh came from alex who was scrolling on his phone.

“whatever, we are just giving the supporters what they wanna see” you replied.

“all adapt has done is shown his 200k montage to his classes” jason spoke putting his phone on the table.

“will you ever be able to move on from that?” you asked jokingly.

“will you ever be able to move on from that guy you never dated?” he responded back making everyone let out “ooo’s”.

“alex don’t even get me star-“ you were cut off when you felt water hit your back. “what the fuck?” you turned around.

there stood silky laughing with a water gun in hand that was pointed right at you.

“yo, where did you get that?” jason asked in between laughs.

“found it”

“silky, do not shoot me with that” you got up from where you were sitting.

“nah cause you wanna take my food when i said not to” he pointed again “and you know i don’t play about my shit”

“it was one fry!”

“one fry that i was gonna eat!” he began spray you with the water gun while laughing.

“silky stop!” you tried to cover your face with your hands to avoid getting sprayed even more. c

you grabbed the water bottle that was on the table and opened it to then throw it at him, but also ended up wetting marlon.

“yo what the fuck!” he got up from where he was sitting.

you could care less you just wanted to stop getting sprayed.

but of course marlon wasn’t going to let you just wet him, even if it was on accident. he grabbed his water bottle and wet both you and silky with it.

“oh you think that shits funny?” silky looked at him and began to wet him instead.

everyone began laughing at the scene of marlon and silky wetting each other with water.

the fun was soon gone when kai was heard from afar.

“hey! all of you let’s go!” he came up to us with security “do y’all realize y’all are out past curfew? and throwing water at each other” he looked at the water on the ground and dripping from marlon the most.

then he saw jason.

“and you” he pointed at him “why the fuck are you hosting fight night on campus?”

“what?” jason acted clueless.

“nah none of that. let’s go all of y’all” security began to handcuff everyone.

“wait what the fuck i didn’t even do anything?” lacy spoke as fanum began to push his wheelchair.

“ron don’t even try running anywhere” kai spoke as he saw ron try to run away “you either adapt. you’re a professor, you should be setting a good example”

once they had everyone handcuffed they all began to walk.

“you guys wanna get edited so bad” you said watching marlon and jason walk shirtless in front of kai’s stream.

soon they were all in a room with a camera in the corner that was watching they’re every move.

“how the fuck did i let y’all get me into this” adapt said sighing “we weren’t even doing anything” he pointed at ron, lacy and himself.

“it’s all silly’s fault” you said.

“uhh no it’s your fault for eating my food after i said not to” he defended himself.

“oh my god it was one fry and you act like you’ve never eaten my food”

“you guys sound like lacy right now” ron finally spoke.

“why am i catching strays!?”

soon everyone stopped talking and we’re all scrolling on their phones.

“guys should be do another subathon?” adapt broke the silence.

“i don’t even wanna see a camera for days after we leave here” marlon said.

“as long as you don’t bring any of your sponsors over this time” you responded “or at least learn how to be quiet”

“i don’t know what you’re talking about” he shrugged.

you looked at everyone else and you all began to laugh.

“whatever you say alex”

you guys spent some more time in there before kai decided to let you out.

it made you realize that you wouldn’t wanna be doing evrything you guys were with anyone one else.
