Dignity Cap
Observed the equinox by knitting at Jackson Beach. The helical body of my Dignity Cap is finished! Crown decreases are next.
Autumn has been my favorite season for as long as I can remember, but this year it feels like we're taking refuge in Helm's Deep before Saruman's Uruk-hai attack.
We had a nearly cloudless sky and still water, so my time-lapse video only really shows the cluster of sails milling about near Dinner Island - young sailors, judging by their sudden, excited shouts of "Starboard! Starboard! Starboard!" - and senior folk making their way down to the water and back. Of course, fanciful driftwood structures dot the beach.
