Tiny Socks
Middle finger mood, because of course this new tiny sock ornament is best displayed on my longest finger. π

Musselburgh Hat
Playing around with both ends of my scrappy Musselburgh hat before I shorten it to a wearable length. Pulled all the way down, I appear to have been detained by the Stockinette Chapter of The Knitting Craftivists (interesting image). I almost like the massively wide brim but it hides the Trans Pride stripes, and I want to be a visible ally. The bag cap has a kind of Renaissance or liberty cap look, but it's not exactly a 21st century look. Onward!
Tiny Socks
Yarn left over from my latest scrappy pirate socks, themselves knit from leftover yarn, made for a couple of cute helically-knit tiny sock ornaments. Like all of my tiny socks, each is one of a kind. π
Bony Wizard
It's a day for autumn magic in the Pacific Northwest. My bony companion looks positively dashing in this little peaked wizard's hat. Maybe a bit eerie as well.
Musselburgh Hat
Finished my scrappy Musselburgh hat last night and wore it to Jackson Beach on this blustery vernal equinox. Thatβs a really warm hat!

Bony Tricorn Hat
Today my bony boonfellow is sporting a tricorn hat and cockade, most befitting a former pirate. I think I heard someone say "bring me that horizon!"
Never Not Knitting
Almost never not knitting. I cast on a watch cap in yarn I used to helically knit scrappy pirate socks and a sock ornament (last photo). I donβt like it in k3 p2 ribbing as much as stockinette. The wrong side, which shows when the brim is folded up, does look more appealing. π€ I kept taking photos to convince myself to keep going. π
Knitting magic
the plainest, least even knitting is still *magic*
