The history of News in Five Minutes
Two quotes from this video stuck with me, and mind you this video dates back to 2012:
â˘Â âThatâs what humans are, great exchangers of news {...} itâs a survival factor, this search for awarenessâ
Talking that people will always find a way to share news. The video also mentions that dating back to the beginning of humanity, the ânewsâ that people liked to hear/share the most were those of sex and violence, could be linking to todayâs popularity of reality TV.
â˘Â âThe idea that only professionals can sell news is ending nowâÂ
As this video was posted in 2012, this just proves that the way people were posting and receiving news was changing, and this is still changing today. What the video meant in that case is the fact that everyone could be writing the news, record a certain event, take a picture of something that just happened and upload it instantly. Journalism wasn't exclusive to journalists anymore, which is mostly positive.
Considering Contact Content
Having looked at different contact sections as well as what to consider, I decided to start working on the contact content. I consider possible paragraphs that fitted my brand guidelines as well as reflected my personality. I also started to consider social media links and where they would be positioned with the text.
