Layout user test

I had wanted to complete this in person with printed cards however this is the best I could do given the circumstances. I did a suer test for the cards with 8 woman from my focus group again. I wanted to gain insight into what they liked and didn't like about the layout of the cards I provided.

It was clear that people liked colour, the symbols were important and there was mixed feelings about the banner. This all helped me decide on  the final two layout options.

Consistency is Key

It has been of my main goals this semester to take everything I learned from creating my artwork last semester to develop art that is consistent, magical, dreamlike, beautiful and captivating. I think i am very nearly there minus a few tweaks!

What I am looking at now is the break down of the cards from a high point of view:

If you were to describe the point of the cards in one sentence what is it?

Why would I buy your cards?

What kind of state would someone be in when they 1. purchase or 2. use them

When they pick a card, are they asking for guidance?

If so, then you could use the tone of speaking to someone who has picked up a card looking for guidance in a situation of uncertainty

Is it immediate and present tense?

Layouts, as final as they can be right now!

These are the two layouts I have decided on. I cannot move any further with the process as these cannot be printed. 

- One layout has the card name on the front of the card

- The second layout has full artwork and the name on the back.
