Took my man to the vet because the hand shyness has not improved. Vet told me her first thought is spine (same) and took some xrays. She found a lot of mineralization and disc compression in the lumbar and thoracic regions.
He hasn’t herniated but we decided to treat it aggressively and put him on crate rest for four weeks. She gave me some painkillers and I’m going to come in three times a week for the next two weeks for cold laser. The goal is to bring the inflammation down and hopefully avoid herniation.
