We all have issues similar and different, both men and women can and will be oppressed in different ways and myisogny affects everyone (teaching cis men that acting horrible is acceptable, teaching women they have to be ok with it, strict roles on masculinity and feminitity and treating anyone who doesn't fit that like bullshit) us trans folk should out of all people be on the same page about this. Besides, both transfems and transmascs have experienced both sides of it. Transitioning doesn't take away your life experience and upringing as a child, a little boy became a beautiful woman and a little girl became a handsome man. You experienced being a boy or a girl in your upbringing, no matter which it is it's still a core foundation of you as a being.

Transitioning adds onto that experience and shows you the other side. This is something I think is beautiful about transness. A way for us to all understand each other.

I, as an afab person, think the surge in hatred towards men from trans women comes from

1- being hypervisible to the public and being treated like public enemy #1

2- experiencing myisogny from a womans perspective for the first time. They see how bad it is and are rightfully outraged about it.

And instead of putting this on socital structures that are meant to oppress women they put it on trans men because they genuinely don't see why they want to be men, think of it as "they're joining the patriarchy". Not to mention generally hating men as well.

The hatred from trans men towards trans women comes from:

1- hyper invisibility and not being seen or heard in trans spaces.

2- being silenced in feminism conversations due to being trans, even though they experienced being a woman until they transitioned

3- the hate from TERFS and the hate from trans women listed above.

Constantly being silenced by women about your life experiences is exhausting. The only trans men that are ever seen are ones that have fully medically transitioned and pass really well- the opposite of many transmasc experiences. They grow resentful over time of all this and grow to hate the other side.
