i had an epiphany recently that holy shit zoro and sanji's promise in wano could totally lead to zoro being told by luffy to leave the strawhats.

im not saying that's gonna happen or that it's even a prediction but theres precedent??

like, the whole luffy vs zoro thing in whiskey peak is still so unique bc luffy JUST saved nami from arlong after she EXPLICITLY betrayed them. and it's not like luffy's not used to the concept of betrayal/playing nice while being evil or anything like that either bc of kuro. so luffy's whole sudden "how dare you zoro i'll kill you" thing is really kind of out of left field and we never really got a resolution to it.

that just got me thinking about how we have nami, usopp, robin, AND sanji (which, not including luffy is almost half of the strawhats and 3/4 east blue recruits) who left the crew and it's unlikely we'd get any more. BUT we've never seen luffy actually kick someone out (besides usopp sorta) and if that were to happen, zoro would weirdly probably be the most likely, ESPECIALLY when zoro and sanji's promise has to take place (because it does. it absolutely does).

i could totally see it happening like this:

zoro kills sanji (he wouldnt actually die lets be real here, but itd be close) and luffy encounters the aftermath/ending. while luffy is definitely more mature at this point in the series that maybe he wouldnt jump to conclusions as quickly as he did in whiskey peak, i actually think that his maturity would make it MORE likely that zoro would get booted bc zoro hurt sanji, and nakama shouldnt hurt nakama. im not even sure if zoro would necessarily try to defend himself either, because it feels like an unspoken agreement to not tell anyone about the promise (much like nothing happened).

so luffy sees this and obviously he has to make a decision. now, the thing here that really gets me (aside from all the other angsty stuff in this hypothetical) is that it was ZORO who taught LUFFY that part of being a captain is making hard decisions, like not allowing crewmates on the ship. that's such a neat parallel and i think it would really highlight some of luffy's growth and especially the relationship between luffy and zoro. so zoro has to leave.

Specially when Crowley has that dramatic lil speech at the bookshop and Aziraphale was wavering between staying and returning to Heaven but then he said fuck it and kissed the bloke and the credits rolled

Imagine that we could only see the cottage and them actually married if...idk if they had to become humans or some nonsense? And like Crowley never called Aziraphale angel again? Or didn't have the Bentley? Or Aziraphale’s didn't have curly hair anymore? Or Crowley didn't garden anymore? Or they just died? Or like they had to suffocate that whole scene in the final 15 minutes of the finale?

Imagine if the universe getting destroyed actually happened anyway somehow? Exactly like God had planned from the beginning? By Aziraphale and Crowley’s choice, no less?
