Darkwick is said to have on campus facilities holding anomalies, the Brey Men escaped from one and we see Shion in a cell does that mean the Dionsyia ghouls were kept on campus? I assumed they were kept somewhere else
ps. we need a map of Darkwick
Yeah, I think this was actually confirmed somewhere in near last episode of season 1.
And even during season 1 was still releasing, it actually dropping little hints about this the whole time. None of these moments stood out on their own, but once you connect them, they paint a pretty clear picture of how Darkwick operates.
Darkwick seems to keep most of its anomalies, including both the students and the ghouls, on campus. It makes sense when you think about it. They're much easier to monitor that way, and since Darkwick still relies on ghouls for missions, they'd naturally want to keep them somewhere close where they can supervise and deploy them whenever needed.
We see the same thing with the Ultio ghouls.
Even though Enzo is suspended, he's still somewhere on campus, most likely within Ultio. He's probably serving his punishment there after everything that happened.
Alan is another example. At the end of Season 1, he's locked up in Ultio's prison. During the final scene, he appears to hear someone approaching his cell.
Most theory indicate that the person walking toward him is actually Enzo.
There's also Shiki, the ghoul that Rui communicates with through the virtual call. Most people assume Shiki is still somewhere within Darkwick as well. He just doesn't seem to stay on campus like everyone else. He's probably stationed somewhere more secluded, either because he prefers isolation or because he regularly takes on solo missions.
So overall, Darkwick doesn't seem to send their ghouls away. Even when they're suspended, imprisoned, or operating independently, they still appear to remain under Darkwick's supervision. That seems to be the academy's way of keeping potentially dangerous anomalies contained while still making use of their abilities when necessary.
Haku's brother is another thing that supports this.
It's confirmed that he's being held in containment at Darkwick. Then in the last episode of season 1, we see Haku running around trying to find him, which pretty much confirms his brother is somewhere on campus.
Maybe I am just thinking this cause I'm writing a fic with Lyca and we don't know his whole backstory yet, but I wonder if Neros was a drunk who thought he could take care of Lyca or maybe knew Lyca's parents and promised to take care of him. Something like that. But then once a month this kid turns into a werewolf, which makes his own safety and survival more difficult. So he decides he's going to like fake his death and basically sell Lyca to one of the shady institute people. Since we know there is and was some sort of clash within the Institute and Darkwick and people are planning and hiding other shit. Similarly to how Yuri is fascinated by Lyca being a werewolf and ghoul and wants to research him/do tests/experiements. Maybe they needed a reason to keep Lyca locked up, and not just roaming the campus like the others. Maybe his actual purpose there was to study him more intensely. Whoever made this deal w/ Neros can just lie and say hr murdered someone. We know that there is like NO evidence. Also would explain why he's so terrified of doctors and needles and why he is locked up while countless others run amuck and have even admitted to murder (one eyed sleeping beauty case).

ππππππ πππππππ (that is that is the title of my post)
Now that I've read the latest episode and heard Sho say something to MC, I can't stop thinking about it. I won't say exactly what he said, but if you're curious, you can check out my spoiler post.
I wonder if the fact that he knows how to do so many things, whether they're big, small, random or practical, like he's basically the king of multitasking, combined with his background and the way he talks about it, means he grew up in a strict environment with really high expectations. Especially when it comes to education and social etiquette. He did call his family "new money" after all, so it's easy to see why his parents would want to mold him into the perfect child to fit into that kind of society.
As for why he said [SPOILER], I feel like it has something to do with Hyde. The fact that Hyde went to Darkwick before and now works for the Institute says a lot. Either Hyde is incredibly smart, the golden child type, or he was the first child their parents placed all their expectations on. The successful kid they were proud of.
That probably put a lot of pressure on Sho because his parents wanted him to be just as successful as Hyde. At the same time, I can also see them neglecting Sho emotionally. Maybe they were emotionally unavailable parents.
As for how Hyde saw all of this, we really don't know. But I don't think their relationship is THATΒ bad. Sho has made a few comments about Hyde, yet he still goes along with whatever plan Hyde has. That tells me he either trusts Hyde to some extent or just can't bring himself to refuse his older brother. Either way, it makes me think the tension between them came from outside circumstances rather than the two of them simply not getting along.
I just think Sho still respects Hyde deep down. That's why he's willing to go along with Hyde's plans. Not just because they're brothers, but because he still has faith in him somehow. Of course, we don't know for sure.
As for Hyde, we barely know anything about this man. I can't say much, but I do think he cares about Sho deep down. Whatever his plan is, if it could save thousands of people, then... Iykyk sometimes people have to make difficult choices. Hyde gives me the impression that he wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice a few people if it meant protecting many more. Sometimes sticking to your principles just isn't an option.
And we learned Sho's eye color in this episode, which gives us a little more insight. Based on the Hyde sprite that Dannie datamined, it looks like Hyde and Sho have the same eye color. So there's a good chance that's Hyde's eye color too.
Iolite is a stunning naturally violet-blue gemstone that's best known for its mesmerizing color-shifting properties. It's the gem quality variety of the mineral cordierite and is loved for its rich indigo hues, affordability, and the fact that its color is naturally occurring rather than artificially enhanced.
Its most famous characteristic is its strong pleochroism. Depending on the angle you look at it, iolite can shift from deep violet-blue or grayish-blue to pale yellow or even completely colorless.
Fun fact: Ancient Viking sailors were believed to have used thin slices of iolite as a polarizing filter to locate the sun on cloudy days.
I spent way too much time trying to find the right gemstone that matched Hyde's eyes because I wanted to write something about him. For the longest time, the closest match I could find was tanzanite. But the more I looked into it, the less satisfied I was. Tanzanite tends to lean more toward violet-purple than the deep blue I imagine for Hyde's and Sho's eyes.
Unlike many popular blue gemstones, such as sapphire or tanzanite, iolite's color is naturally occurring and rarely requires heat treatment. I think that's part of why it feels like a better fit to me. Tanzanite has always looked just a little too "artificial" for how I picture their eye color, while iolite has a much more natural, muted blue that matches my image of Hyde and Sho much better.
to start off I wanna say I guessed four of them correctly except sho and Haku so yay applause
Gonna talk abt theories now.
Obviously many people have suggested how all of the suitors are rogue or maybe that rogue card is not even distributed. Now the ghouls of mc have no way of knowing since the cards are blank now.
I know taiga has been acting off this ep but like...when is he not ? Lol. Anyways I trust my goat always he is the realest. Since it began w a card game especially where we have seen him have an upper hand in S1 Ep4 against the Oblivion Dealer.
theory 1.
I do think there is a reason he is so laid back.
during oblivion dealer the only way the game could be won was by smn who knew the casino well. Which was Taiga and his main trick was to ask for the cards faced down. It was as if it was a perception thingy more than playing cards to win. (As in if you know what is in the card, the anomaly will know it too cuz it is born in the place YOU created hence it can only look over things YOU know)
I think he applied the same tactic here and did not view his card. This leads me to believe that he is the Rogue w/o his knowledge.
He is also one of the only participants who have been challenging and bullying the anomaly into changing or modifying rules directly.
I did think abt how Haku can be the rogue too along w taiga but I forgot my theory. It has been like 20 days since this has been in my drafts.
recently joined a new server in tkdb and was rereading the intro.
DOESNT MC TALKING ABOUT THE CONCERT FEEL FAMILIAR. DOESNT IT LOOK LIKE IT HAS PARALLELS. ESPECIALLY AFTER THE JUMPING SCENE? (if iβd known it was going to end like this, i wouldnt have fallen for them in the first place)
is this the time loop they were talking about? i thought iβd accepted it was over??? their time was cut short??
