Finalmente consegui correr uma prova por completo, nos últimos meses sofri com problemas durante minhas disputas me impossibilitando de correr como eu queria. Comecei o segundo semestre com o resultado de vice campeão do Iron Runner Inhotim. #trailrunning #ironrunning #2semestre #clubedompedroii #upfitrail #kailashteamLAF #trifosfato #nihumana #moutaintest #endurance #occ
My home vitamin stash (picture to the left) and my work vitamin stash (right) (TMI warning: If you are squeamish stop reading). Last month I stupidly failed to take my women's multivitamins for an entire week before my period as well as my iron pills. I felt absolutely horrible during my period. I was lethargic for the entire week and did nothing but sleep. My period was ridiculously heavy which sucked even more out of me. Could not do a 10 mile training run much less a mile.
This month being the San Francisco Half Marathon I took these pills religiously (but I go easy on the magnesium, found out the hard way that this is way too large of a dose). I am currently on my period and finding no lack of energy, easy cramps and PMS to a minimum. I also noticed I am not pigging out. Giving that I do so much mileage my body runs through vitamins and mineral much faster than the average person. As long as I keep being this active these vitamins are my friends.
I take some extra pills for running purposes. I take turmeric for inflammation, zinc for cramps, B12 for energy and Omega 3 because I HATE fish. I take vitamin C because I work with the public and want to avoid a cold, it also helps with iron absorption.
