In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a complex set of procedures used to improve fertility, avoid genetic problems, and aid in childbirth. Ovarian reserve evaluation. Your doctor can measure the concentrations of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol (estrogen), and anti-Mullerian hormone in your blood during the first few days of your menstrual cycle to determine the quantity and quality of your eggs.
