I love your work!!! When is part 5 of princess and the lawyer coming out?
My goal is to publish a chapter every Friday. I’ve already posted a piece this week, so Chapter V is anticipated for release on September 2.
Be aware, this goal should be taken with a grain of salt. I don’t promise to hit it every time.
I’m an “intuitive plotter” which means that I outline my story, then do whatever feels right in the moment as I’m writing. If what I write deviates from the original plan, I go back and create a new outline. There are many, many outlines throughout the writing process…
Usually, I outline a story one Act at a time. For example, my Act 1 of Princess is partially finished. Now that I’ve hit that point, I was able to make an outline of Act 2, but it’s not set in stone. Act 3 is still a mystery. I have a theory about what I’m going to do, but it’s not entirely clear yet. (Even to me.) Until I get all the pieces made I’m not going to bother trying to solve the puzzle.
Does that make sense? Or do I sound crazy?
It might be insane to write like this, but I don’t want to know the ending until I have a firm grasp on the story. It also helps be build stronger characters because they surprise me with some of the things they do. And I can pull off a heck of a plot twist sometimes.
Besides, what motivation would I have to keep writing if I knew the ending? 😂
I’ll continue to make posts letting my followers know when to expect a new part. Those seem to have been well received. Also, I do try to keep my masterlist updated.
