Society keeps you entertained,
solitude keeps you real.
I hate small talk, small minds, and shallow souls. Keep your gossip, your empty noise, your surface-level shit. I crave conversations that bruise, minds that burn, and souls that ache for honesty and truth. If you can’t swim in the deep end, don’t come near my ocean 🙄

HOW TO SOUND SMART WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON AROUND YOU?
Yesterday I entered an extempore competition in my college and this was the topic I got, and it is so interesting!!
So here's my opinion on the same, more detailed and structured:
We might often associate sounding "smart" with sounding "right" but I believe it is more about sounding authentic
So the first step is being genuine, combating the fear of being seen as dumb, which is very obvious in these situations, since nobody is perfect and we all can know things and not know far more things.
This brings your focus to what you know around you rather than what you don't. A delivery that stems from a place of being honest in your expression helps you connect better with people.
And yes, I also do believe that in some situations where you can't figure just anything out, silence is the wisest choice. In such situations, silence makes you seem smarter than any speech
So to summarize, try to stay calm, bring your focus back to what you know and then deliver or else let your silence speak!!
I am not trying to guide anyone, just sharing my take on it (Because why not? hehe 🐿)
I'd love to know your thoughts on this topic too, please do share!!!
P.S. I had so much fun speaking yesterday🫶
