As to be expected, the intro round for the Smiths was incredibly laid back and wholesome.

Okay Jenny. Body tea. (One thing about Jenny is that literally every pre-made she met had high chemistry with her. She's universally a milf.)

The Smiths went out for family lunch at the diner but for some reason got seated separately?

Then the went home and spent the rest of the day outside enjoying the pool.

Jill also went on a self love journey, apparently.

And Johnny asked Ophelia out on a date back to the same (and only) diner in town. This was the only time I've seen the 'ask for permission to go out' interaction work. Jenny's hot and chill.

After rolling the want three times, back at home PT#9 finally adopted a family dog. Meet Cooper! Jill loves him.

We end off the round will Jenny throwing up. Which I'm sure is the first time of many.

Bella knew she shouldn't have been on Don's balcony that night, but after being abducted she's starting to think maybe it wasn’t such a bad thing after all. Whatever their reasoning was, the aliens dropped Bella off in Strangetown - completely unharmed - so maybe those Caliente girls don't have as much influence over the skies as they think they do.

Of course her first thought was to return to her family but, wait. How many sims get the chance to start over like this? She never really had a chance to explore her romance sim ways after marrying Mortimer so young... ah, why not. If things go wrong she can always pretend she lost her memory, right? Best to drop that Goth name just for now though.

Her first guest was the blissfully unaware Jenny Smith who let her know about the new bar that opened in town! Seems like somewhere a cute single would want to go!

But when Bella got there all the immediate attention freaked her out a bit. Maybe they recognised her? Or maybe they just found her hot, either way it was too much too soon.

So she decided to hit up the local pool instead! Which turned out to not be much better.

Cyd: 'You look really familiar, have we met?'

Bella: 'Ha, um, I don't think so? Maybe I just look similar to a celebrity you know or something.'

We're finally on the last household of the intro rounds, and what better way to end it then one of the best comfort families in the game - the Ramaswami's :')

Their house feels so them too, a proper home <33 (sorry I'm bad at room shots lmao)

I know the Ramaswami's are another household canonically in Riverblossom Hills, but with Sanjay's music ambitions Downtown felt like a better fit for them.

They were both desperate for a pet so, Navi joined the family pretty quickly :)

Their round was 5% housework, 95% canoodling.

Priya: 'Coming to bed, babe?'

Sanjay: 'Yeah one sec! Listen to this riff!'

Priya: 'Sanjay. Your wife is in lingerie, put down the guitar.'

Sanjay: 'Yes, dear.'

Gvaudoin really meant it though. What would she do without Fricorith if he decided to move back to that house after they finished college? She knew he didn't really have a backbone, and would do anything the family asked of him.

Ugh. That was a worry for another day though, for now - she enjoyed a brief moment of normality.

Unbelievably I forgot to play the Summerdream household before moving onto Riverblossom Hills?! So we'll quickly nip back to Veronaville to get the icons married.

Quick description of how I see the Summerdreams; I imagine fairies are all genderless, polyamorous, and pansexual beings that are often more feminine presenting and are pretty loose with their pronouns - anything goes!

First off, Oberon had to propose to his triple-bolt soul partner Titania. (I know the story is set up to be that they're are having relationship problems but that's just not my head cannon. These two are obsessed with each other.)

On the way to the alter, Puck and Hermia fell in love <33

Wedding time! Titania and Oberon are definitely in an open marriage, and did this as a vow of their commitment to each other.

A rare moment of peace and tranquility. Lightning even struck as the ceremony came to an end, the nature fairies way of approving I imagine! :'))

Onto the Summerdream's favourite bit, the after party!

Which was, of course, not without its mandatory Capp-Monty fights.

Puck shared their first kiss with Hermia and wanted to make things official by going steady. (Lightning struck again during their first kiss, nice to know the fae's are approving!)

They rounded off the evening with Titania and Oberon consummating the marriage in the hot tub, much to Bo's disgust.

Sometimes people wonder how Patricia and Cleo even ended up as friends. They're so wildly different, Patricia is a bit of a prude and Cleo is definitely a free spirit but despite that their friendship seems to work!

Their days mostly look like this.

Patricia and Gabe's relationship is still going strong, despite the best effort of that horrible daughter of his. Patricia hates kids, but Gabe's good to her so she can tolerate Jules - for now.

She's always talking shit about her and Gabe doesn't tend to say much back. Gross, Gabe.

(I've been putting off giving sims traits until they 'earn them' through gameplay but I immediately gave Patricia dislikes children & snob, obviously.)

This sums up the girls pretty well I think.

Patricia: 'Cleo, just because you're hiding in a plant doesn't mean we can't see you.'

Cleo: 'Sorry. You can't crack open the bar without me though.'

The next day, Patricia invited Andrew Martin over to build some connections for work. He and Cleo hit it off immediately (yay!!!) but it's clear he's still in mourning and Cleo's not looking for a fixer-upper so they'll just be friends for now.

Andrew: '3-0, things aren't looking good for you Cleo.'

Cleo: 'No fair man, you literally do this for a living.'

Perfect house wife by day, extramarital dabbler by night. The thing that Stella cares most about is her image, so marrying Morty was a no-brainer. Rich, sophisticated, hot - he has it all. It's just a shame that he's really boring, to her at least. So she'll play loving partner and mother during the day....

...but at night, that's when Peter spices things up a bit.

Just to go back home, climb into bed with Morty and do it all over again.

The thing is Morty isn't actually boring, he just enjoys the slow life. Reading books and good views - that's why he moved them to Riverblossom Hills!

He even got close with Mortimer Goth! Who almost felt like an alternate version of him? Eh, probably just a coincidence.

And I mean, really close.

His daughter Sandra was, well, a brat. And acted like it too. Morty tried to teach her to be kind and grateful but, growing up in the city with money made her arrogant. She deserved everything good in life! And right now that was Jacob Martin.

Whereas Xander couldn't be more opposite, he was shy and caring. He loves all forms of life, and was happy to just be happy! He even rolled a fear of the fish dying that I've never seen before :')))

I like to imagine that Chester found Ajay's ad for a roommate online and thought Strangetown would be perfect to get his Science career off the ground.

Unfortunately, on his first day he got fired.

So there goes that storyline. BUT his LTW is to become a criminal mastermind which I thought was quite funny given his nerdy tech background.

The pair headed to the community pool where Chester got to know Nervous.

And Ajay started flirting with Erin Beaker ??? After his date with Lola ??

Damn, what a dog. I thought Ajay was supposed to be boring. He has the same amount of chemistry with both so we'll see what happens!

Just as their round was coming to an end, Chester set their very appropriately decorated kitchen on fire.
