Not all much happened for the Grunts in the intro round. Buzz took Tank and Buck out to a diner where Buck spent most the time chatting with Jill.

When they got home Buzz continued pushing Tank probably too hard, as usual.

And Ripp spent the round looking like this.

As to be expected, the intro round for the Smiths was incredibly laid back and wholesome.

Okay Jenny. Body tea. (One thing about Jenny is that literally every pre-made she met had high chemistry with her. She's universally a milf.)

The Smiths went out for family lunch at the diner but for some reason got seated separately?

Then the went home and spent the rest of the day outside enjoying the pool.

Jill also went on a self love journey, apparently.

And Johnny asked Ophelia out on a date back to the same (and only) diner in town. This was the only time I've seen the 'ask for permission to go out' interaction work. Jenny's hot and chill.

After rolling the want three times, back at home PT#9 finally adopted a family dog. Meet Cooper! Jill loves him.

We end off the round will Jenny throwing up. Which I'm sure is the first time of many.

The Beaker's are evil in some ways, sure. But Nervous has a lot more freedom than you'd think. Most of their days are spent reading books and having grumpy conversations, so he doesn't mind helping out with the odd experiment. I think he actually quite enjoys it.

I think part of the reason Circe doesn't go too hard on Nervous is because he doesn't put up a fight. Kind of takes the fun out of it.

Loki on the other hand much prefers invention over human experiments, his dream is to create a lifelong AI companion one day. But for now, he'll just stick to the toy robots.

Nervous is completely in love with Pascal, and wanted to make things official. That night, Pascal invited him downtown so he took it as the perfect opportunity.

Pascal did bring Tycho again.

Olive was super grateful she got to be there to witness the engagement.

The three (and a half including the baby laying on the cold sidewalk outside) enjoyed the rest of their evening.

(I was going to drag out Olive's reunion with Nervous until just before her death but Pascal literally didn't give me a choice lol)

Back at home, Circe is starting to feel a bit weird.

Despite being the most mysterious household in Strangetown, Olive and Ophelia were one of the least dramatic so far!

Ophelia invited Johnny over for some 'bonding'.

And Pascal invited Olive to an outing Downtown, I really think this is him trying to get Nervous back in touch with his mother :'))) He did bring Tycho which, although very cute, did ruin the vibe.

Finally getting to the Stranetown intro rounds and we kick it off with an abduction, how fitting!

A few hours later, he was dropped back to the beautiful sound of baby chimes :D

All that excitement must've sent Pascal into labour, Tycho Curious is our first Uberhood baby <333 (If you don't count the Oldie's adoption)

Nervous stopped by to check on Pascal after the birth and things got flirty pretty quick.

When Pascal got back from his date, Olive Specter came to visit. I like to think she's been keeping an eye on her son since he was taken from her and Pascal is the first step to getting back in contact with him :')

That night, Jenny invited the brothers out for dinner but with Lazlo at work and Pascal looking after Tycho only Vidcund could make it.

Lazlo spent most the round lounging about the house as he tends to do. I did try to take him out a few times but nothing too interesting happened!

I also put Vidcund in the Natural Scientist career and Lazlo in the Paranormal career as I think it suits them better.

I know canonically the Ottomas' should live in Riverblossom Hills, but I love to torture myself and put them in a trailer in Pleasantview.

David went out to try and make some friends but didn't get far before it started to hail.

Then Brandi stopped by, pregnant women gotta support each other after all.

Samantha: 'Oh girl I get it, I've fallen asleep in my dinner countless times too. Kids, am I right?!'

Brandi: 'Huh?'

When everyone had fallen asleep, Peter and his work colleague Stella Roth got a little too close.

Poor Tommy doesn't even know what he's seeing :((

Jennifer's LTW is to be Chief of Staff, so the first thing she did - aside from roll a fear of having another baby, sorry John - was join the medicine career.

If John can't have another baby yet, he'll settle for a dog. Meet Tucker, named after John's old family dog from ts1!

He's also determined to continue gardening like his parents did when he was younger, dreaming one day Jennifer will agree to move to Riverblossom Hills.

Lucy spent the rest of the round bonding with Tucker and Jennifer spent her time skilling for work, so John headed downtown for some late night coffee.

To combat the usual 'boring old couple' gameplay, I always have Herb and Coral adopt again. So after getting them some part time jobs in the education and slacker careers, Coral signs up to adopt a child and a kitten. Because why not.

Little Gus is dropped off immediately! (Visible coat for kittens and puppies can be downloaded here)

Herb and Coral rekindle their relationship and then invite Mary-Sue and the girls over that evening, I'm sure that won't go wrong at all.

With all that fighting, Herb forgot his TV dinner in the oven :'))

He then decides that now is the perfect time for the birds and bees chat with Lilith. Okay Herb.

The next morning, the Oldie's newest addition Corey is dropped off! Coral and Corey, like it was meant to be <333

Well, we all know how this round starts so no caption needed.

Luckily Mary-Sue was only demoted, unluckily she was about to catch her husband with the maid.

I've played this scenario so many times and Mary-Sue has never physically attacked Kaylynn before, but this time she did. I don't blame her really.

And she won, go on Mary-Sue!

Angela invited the grandparents over to see if they could keep some peace, not like she payed too much attention to them. After a quick chat with Coral, she and Dustin decided to make dinner really awkward for everyone else!

Coral ended up in aspiration failure too, just a bad day for everyone I think.

To get away from everything, Daniel took Kaylynn to the club for a date. Of course they had to make use of the Photo Booth, attracting two very different reactions from Checo Ramirez and Patrizio Monty.

Back at home, Lilith and Dirk snuck out. He showed up in a limo, for some reason?

But ended up getting busted.

Dirk took Lilith on a date downtown, where she got pickpocketed almost immediately.

The rest of the date was fun though! Dirk asked Lilith home, I have cutscenes turned off so whilst I was too focussed on Darren they had their first woohoo in his bed. Ew. But, seems like some teenage rebellion they'd do.

Brandi spent her morning teach Beau how to talk and Dustin played with his pinball machine, they both look thrilled!

After school, Dustin takes Angela out on a date to get out of the house.

And even managed to score that first kiss!

And the next kiss..

And the next...

'I don't get paid enough for this.' - that cashier, probably.

When Dustin got home, Brandi's baby belly finally popped. (I forgot to use a clean template with the base hood lol. Clone in coming!)

Soon after, little Beau had his birthday party too. Brandi invited her girls, Dina and Nina.

After a light conversation about death, Brandi fell asleep on the sofa. Hell of a party.

Dina was expecting Mort to propose on that date he took her on, so when he didn't she grew tired of waiting and decided that gender roles are dumb anyway.

Don invited Nina on an outing downtown and thought that bringing all of his love interests was a good idea. :// Luckily Cassie thinks a nice platonic back massage isn't anything to be concerned of ?

But Kaylynn got real upset when she saw Don flirt with his wife, I guess she hasn't figured out her role as permanent side chick yet.

Nina quickly dispersed the group before anymore hearts were broken and asked Don to meet her at woodland park. They even managed to get some payback on the unsavory charlatan, maybe he'll think twice before trying to pickpocket two adults alone in a park at night again!

After their date Nina went home, joined the Athletic career and had a nice relaxing bath just before the obligatory burglary.

Someone loves their job ://// Luckily the cops got to the house just in time.

The Goth intro rounds started off as always, with Don & Cassie's wedding.

and to my surprise, he said yes!

Mort took Dina on a date downtown.

And she decided she wanted to pelt a water balloon straight into Consort Capp's mouth, risky move there Dina.

Mortimer quickly got tired of Don's late night piano practice, so gave the pair §100,000 to move out and buy their own family home.

The Lothario's moved next door, into 105 Sim Lane.
