We're finally on the last household of the intro rounds, and what better way to end it then one of the best comfort families in the game - the Ramaswami's :')

Their house feels so them too, a proper home <33 (sorry I'm bad at room shots lmao)

I know the Ramaswami's are another household canonically in Riverblossom Hills, but with Sanjay's music ambitions Downtown felt like a better fit for them.

They were both desperate for a pet so, Navi joined the family pretty quickly :)

Their round was 5% housework, 95% canoodling.

Priya: 'Coming to bed, babe?'

Sanjay: 'Yeah one sec! Listen to this riff!'

Priya: 'Sanjay. Your wife is in lingerie, put down the guitar.'

Sanjay: 'Yes, dear.'

Next up, the Larson twins! I imagine Jodie moved downtown for work and felt a sense of responsibility to bring her brother who was seemingly going nowhere.

I watched a machinima a long time ago that painted Jason as a 'sci-fi nerd/conspiracy theorist' and that's just been my head cannon for him ever since despite him being a fortune sim lol. (if anyone knows what that machinima was please let me know, Nina Caliente also has a story arc with Cyd Roseland in it. it was so good and I can't find it :'))

Jodie works at Landgraab Enterprises™ dealing in real estate and is very dedicated on working her way up. But this means Jason is left alone most of the time, his job as a psychic phone pal isn't very demanding.

So he travels to his favourite place quite often, Strangetown.

On this particular visit, Jason meets the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. He's so in awe of her he doesn't talk to her at all and quickly makes his way back home. Lame.

That evening, Jodie heads out to the bar to unwind after a successful day selling crappy buildings to rich people. Her time there was pretty uneventful but there was plenty of entertainment coming from the background stories forming.

Mortimer took Dina on a date.

Malcolm Landgraab was flirting with a townie the whole time.

And Stella Roth seemingly took her teenage daughter out to watch her gamble? Seems right for her.

Jodie jumped at the opportunity to play poker with Malcolm. If she could get friendly with the big boss, surely she would be first in line for promotions!

Cyd: 'Sorry about Rainelle, she's just full of love to give apparently.'

Leod: 'Ha, you don't say. I'm just glad you're cute.'

Cyd: 'I could say the same about you. I dig the skirt.'

Leod: 'It's a kilt. Why do people always call it a skirt?'

Obviously pleased with herself, Rainelle snuck out to give the boys some privacy.

(I decided to give Cyd tattoos. Just imagine they've been there the whole time lol)

Time for another one of my absolute favourites <33 Cyd was my guinea pig when resurrecting the Tricou's and Rainelle so half of his intro day was spent doing that.

In the mean time; Porthos was eating the garbage, throwing it back up and getting pets for being a good boy.

That evening, his best friend Rainelle dropped by for a drink. Unknowingly to him, it was to set him up on a blind date - it's probably better she didn't tell him though as he would've certainly said no.

Rainelle: 'C'mon Cyd, you'll never meet anyone on your own!'

Cyd: 'Maybe because I don't want to meet anyone right now? No offence, Leod.'

Leod: 'None taken. I'm not really interested in anything right now either, not entirely sure why I said yes to this to be honest.'

Rainelle: 'Well seems like you guys are in the same boat then! I'm not suggesting marriage, but you could do with loosening up a bit Cyd.'

Cyd: 'I'm not that bad.'

Rainelle: 'What about you, Leod? Are you against flings?'

Leod: 'Hah, I've never really had one. But I'm sure after a few glasses of nectar I wouldn't be opposed.'

Cyd: 'I'll never say no to a few glasses of nectar.'

In a world where the Tricou's are still alive, Rainelle Neengia is too.

This is my first time playing her as well and I love this diva.

She might look ditsy, but Rainelle is incredibly smart and dedicated. Even aspiring to be a General in the military one day! She hasn't plucked up the courage to move to Strangetown yet, but she's only young - she's got plenty of time to focus on her career in the future. For now she'll enjoy all the fun Downtown has to offer.

As a temporary gig she joined the journalism career. One thing that is true to her stereotype is she loves a gossip 💅🏽

After work she heads out to blow off some steam.

She bumps into her one and only friend so far, Cyd Roseland. Every bi needs a gay best friend, as they say.

She joins the group he's with and they party the night away at the club. Rainelle hits it off with Jodie Larson but is quickly interrupted by Nylissit Tricou who, despite being married, can't help but brag about how much better looking she is. Rainelle agrees, of course.

I also noticed some weird tension between Bella and Kvornan, not sure what kind of tension yet but there's definitely something there.

Rainelle gets home at 3am, takes a bubble bath and gets a few hours sleep before going back to work. Almost felt like I was playing a college sim this round lol.

Gvaudoin really meant it though. What would she do without Fricorith if he decided to move back to that house after they finished college? She knew he didn't really have a backbone, and would do anything the family asked of him.

Ugh. That was a worry for another day though, for now - she enjoyed a brief moment of normality.

Gvaudoin: 'Do you think she'll ever forgive us?'

Fricorith: 'Who?'

Gvaudoin: 'The Gray Woman.'

Fricorith: 'What would she have to forgive us for?'

Gvaudoin: 'Grandmother's atrocities. Our name is cursed, you know.'

Fricorith: 'You don't know that for a fact, Gvaudoin. Maybe grandmother is just misunderstood.’

Gvaudoin: 'Hm, I hope you're right.'

Fricorith: 'Hey, how about we go out? Get you away from our oh-so-evil family.'

Gvaudoin: 'You joke about it but they really are evil.'

Fricorith: 'Well how about you channel all your anger onto a karaoke machine, hm? I know you do a mean rendition of Misery Business.'

Gvaudoin: 'Hah, you're dumb. Love you Fricorith, I don't know how I'd survive without you.'

Fricorith: 'Well, it's a good thing you'll never have to find out isn't it!'

This is my first time ever resurrecting the Tricou's and it reminds me how much I hate playing 8 sims and huge houses :')))

I love how dark the house is though, suits their vibe. I decided to not make them vampires, but I took their story in a different direction to explain their overall mysteriousness. (have a look at their household description on my neighbourhood/character index if you're interested in finding out before the story unfolds through gameplay <333)

Most of the intro round was spent skilling and getting my bearings on their personalities. So far I've sussed out the following:

Jennicor is the mean one, always being the first to initiate a slap or poke.

Jon Smith is (excuse the expression) pretty much away with the fairies, blissfully unaware of the animosity in the house.

Nylissit's main care in the world is how she looks.

Kiernan is always drinking, maybe to drink away the guilt? Or he's just a party animal, idk yet.

Jennail seems to be the most sensible of the adults, almost like she's got an expectation of her? I'm thinking Jennicor picked her as heiress.

Kvornan is pretty moody, most failed interactions come from him.

Fricoirth is definitely the people pleaser of the house, he's kind and wants everyone to just get along.

Gvaudoin hates her whole family and for the most part they hate her too, except Fricoirth who is her best friend. She seems to want out of the house and to not look back. I think she's the only one brave enough to stand up to her grandmother which probably doesn't go down well.
