In Downtown, if you go down the cemetery, you will see the old mansion on the same street. It was inhabited by many people. But now, all of them are dead. That's why many think the house is haunted by their ghosts. And they wouldn't be wrong. Since late at night, we can see specters wandering in the Tricou garden. This is the sad story of the Tricou family, all of whose members are deseaced.

There is eight members burried in Gothier green lawn and the House of fallen trees. The oldest are Jennicor and John Smith Tricou. Before their death, they had two children : Jennail and Nylissit Tricou. Both of them were married to their respective husbands Kvornan and Kiernan. The first couple have a son named Fricorith, and the second have a daughter named Gvaudoin. The tombstones of the last generation of the Tricou can be found on the yard. 

But there is also an other grave, belonging to Rainelle Neengia. She’s not related to the family, so we can speculate she moves in long after their deaths. And her memories tends to prove that. She doesnt even know the original owners of the house.

So nobody could tell us what could have happened to them ?

There is many theories on that : a fire devasted the house, they all died of starvation or maybe one of the members decided to slaughter them all... But the one I personnaly think is the best fitting, is that they were a vampire familly, dying because of sun exposure. This could explain why they all died so sundenly and so rapidly one after an another, according to their memories. But also, Fricorith Tricou seems to have a souvenir of what could have been the accident which started all of this drama : he was smash by an asteroid. So maybe this could have destroyed enough the house for the other members to be exposed to the sun and burned. 

A fun detail to support this vampire theory are the coffins we can found deep down in the basement. Who would if they weren't vampires?

And for the fact that they all seem to have starved to death, I don't think that's the case. Because you may or may not know it, but there is a glitch when you take the grave from one place to another, where the death is overwrite by starvation. So they probably didnt die of starvation.

But then, why aren’t they all vampire in the game since this lifestate was released in the sims 2 Nightlife ? To be honest, i don’t really know. And I think this is the biggest hole in my theory. We can speculate their death change the lifestate for ever ? But that’s not the case in the game so I don’t have any idea.

That’s why many people have other theories. And one I partucarly like, is that they were fairies. That would fill the hole, because fairies didn’t exist in Nightlife. And theirs death could have been cause of a fire started by the asteroid.
