We're requesting an " influenced / inspired " term for an introject feeling connected to a culture / language / nationality due to their source without actually being a part of it because it's not part of the body's.
I'm aware of the terms intusi, aldernic, and indelse. However, none of those feel quite right... Aldernic feels way too close to transIDs for our comfort. Indelse is too abstract ( that's just the best we can describe it... ). And well, intusi just feels like appropriation of POC beings. We've even looked at dissomei, and that ends up making it sound like I'm, yet again, disrespecting & appropriating POC beings!
To reiterate: the introject is inspired by and wants to take part in open practices of culture(s). They do not identify as being a part of said culture(s), only as being influenced by it due to their source. Again, this is not an "I identify as" but an "I am inspired by."
" Why don't you just coin it yourself? " Out of our respect for the POC community. It's like feeling the need to be granted permission to partake in an open part of a culture, even though it is an open practice.
