Anna and the French Kiss

1.    Video Camera: Anna wants to study Cinematography and finds out that Paris is rich in films. Every time they are discussed you can pick up the camera and pretend to film the moment.

2.     Beret: Anna describes St. Clair as doing a shrug that turned him instantly from vaguely English to French. Every time he does this you should put the beret on.

3.     Chocolate Kiss: there are many romantic moments, and some with gratuitous kissing. For example, two of Anna's new friends Rashmi and Josh are dating and make out frequently. Whenever there are kisses you can celebrate, or distract yourself with a chocolate.

4.    Champagne/sparkling cider: there is a scene where Anna and her friends go out to a club and get tipsy. Raise a glass and toast with them.

5.    Canadian Flag Pin: When Anna first arrives she is afraid Parisians will not like her because she is American. To ease her fears St. Clair gives her a Canadian pin to put on her back pack. You can pin yours on your shirt in commemoration.

6.    Apple Pie Candle: Anna begins to notice how America differs from her new home when she returns for the winter holidays.  When this happens or anything else that seems "American as apple pie" happens, light the candle.  

7.    Hand Sanitizer: Anna admits to being a germaphobe. Everytime she is, pull out your sanitizer and join her.

8. The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks: Anna describes her dad as a cheesy author whose tragic romances are becoming hit movies, much like Nicholas Sparks. Every time Anna's father is mentioned you can hold up a copy of The Best of Me (or any other cheesy Sparks book of your choosing) and sigh in sympathy.

9.  Pink Cancer Ribbon: In the book St. Clair's mom gets diagnosed with cancer, so when she is mentioned, in solidarity we can all pin on the ribbon.
