I adore this Kai-Antonia-Jesse trio, they are so fun, AND I LOVE SUNNI SO MUCH I can’t wait to see more of her!!

But can you imagine being in a yearning competition and you got Lloyd, Kai and Jesse (emphasis on Jesse)as your opponents? I would immediately pack my things and skedaddle out of there

And ooooo Dareth chasing Cole and Zane with the ruler, but not interrupting aftershock? Oooooo favoritism (ain’t complaining tho I am going to reread their dance until I get sick of it I WILL NEVER GET SICK OF IT)

However, I do have a tiny question: will these flowers that Jesse keeps throwing up impact in someway his health? Like, there is no way he will be completely fine after going through that almost everyday.. Idk, I really enjoy your take on hanahaki disease. Your descriptions of it are so well made sometimes I get slightly nauseous too while reading them (I mean this in a good way)

Anyways, I KNOW Nya and Olivia’s dance is going to be so cinematic I’m so thrilled omg!!!

They’re all as carefree as they can be……..surely nothing devastating will change that soon………

YAY SUNNI LOVE, i HAD to give her some justice here because i kept pushing it offfffffff (but she’ll be much more prominent next book, if the obvious foreshadowing wasn’t obvious)

Dareth, walking past Jesse and Cole: I pretend I do not see it

And I mean, it’s definitely affecting Jesse’s mental health, but physically it’s not actually at risk of harming/killing him; it just feels like it is in the moment (he’s very dramatic that way). That said, it is an exhausting thing to go through and Jesse ideally should rest after each time it happens which he will not be doing

(Also, that was our last ~flower scene~ for this fic, about TIME, so we don’t have to worry about him anymore! Except we do ) (but oof it is a very difficult thing to write differently each time let me tell you. Need to get some tips from Harumi about how to change it up….)
