I've had my share of bad days.

Forgiveness is a test,

and I am a failure.

But you—

how could you tell me that it's no big deal?

That I hurt you worse

than you hurt me.

It's not supposed to be a competition.

If it were,

you would win with flying colors.

Red flags would be going up

all across the stadium.

Three cheers

for the one who screwed up—

the worst.

You broke me in ways

I didn't know that I could be broken.

Bent me in ways

I never thought I'd let myself be bent.

Now what's left is shame

and a great feeling of indignation.

It is so hard to forgive.

I will never forget.

You are my forever.

Until the end,

when death does us part.

I will fight this fire

that consumes me.

Fight—

for the love of you.

like the other day a girl put out a cigarette rather than walk over to the dumpster with the butts since that was the help one might expect and since that’s what one must get by on . like wtf. you should be able to let your hand be upturned without denying righteous indignation at ‘help’ you KNOW might be refused.
