A label for indigenous peoples who feel as though their femininity is related, connected, or encompassed by ribbon skirts. (‘Fem’ from ‘Femininity’, ‘Ri’ from ‘Ribbon’, and ‘Bria’ from Latin ‘Fimbriam’ meaning ‘Skirt.’)
The intersection of one's indigenous identity and culture with their gender identity and/or expression; identifying with one's gender in a way that subverts colonial gender norms. Exclusively for folks who are bodily indigenous (explicitly including indigenous groups outside the Americas), not for radqueer/transID individuals. Already exists? Consider these as alternatives!
Not my own flags, just posting on behalf of my buddy Raizel who did create these (and alas is not on here because. The webwhite. /derogatory). In big text at hyr request, do not credit me (Judas) as the creator, I'm just the messenger! Some of you don't read on purpose!!

Xōchihuah๑ A Nahua term meaning "flower-bearer" or "possessor of flowers". This is a two-spirit identity, neither fully male nor fully female, for Nahua people partaking in both male and female paths of living!
[PT: Xochihuah /end PT]
Symbolism: The flag itself is based on the Nahua flag. The yellow background is for femininity, as women would paint themselves yellow as a sign of their beauty, as would Xōchihuah. The red and orange are taken from the colors of Xōchipilli, protector of Mexicah queer folk.
I'm aware another Xōchihuah flag has been made before, but that one didn't seem to have much meaning behind the chosen colors, so I decided to make this one myself to be more meaningful and show what it actually means.
Haven’t seen any indigenous pride flags / rep flags so as an indigenous chiricahua apache, I decide to make some of my own ! free to use for any use, this is pt 1/2 because I have no self control !
multi use as an indigenous pride flag, or as a ur fav is indigenous flag
NOTE - please do not use this for personal use if you are not indigenous ie. for your profile pic or something of that sort. this was made by an indigenous person for the indigenous community as we’re really lacking in any sort of public positivity or pride in our heritage.
this is NOT a gender or sexuality flag. indigenous is not a gender or sexuality, I simply thought we deserve an intertribal flag to represent our heritage.
these flags are for any native gay & trans as well as two-spirit people! ive seen such a lack of indigenous related lgbt things on this website and had an idea to make these after seeing black gay & trans flags similar!!
if used, credit is appreciated but not at all required!
