Sup ppl I'm Ramo a Ghanaian/Trinidadian/American artist. I'm the co founder of Plasma Spin Studios and I'm finally unveiling my indie pilot show poster!
I got tired of how cottage core and magic media in general is only eurocentric. So, I set out to make a magical story about people that look like me!
So, I created Ambys Stoma! A story about Tezca, a inquisitive bubble mage trying to learn as many different kinds of magic from other races and cultures. However, through one of his endeavors Tezca releases unkillable monsters that are bent on devouring everyone. Luckily with the help of the village elder, Tezca was able to seal everyone in a bubble dome. Protecting them from the monsters.
Now Tezca has to travel the cosmos on his floating island manta ray to discover the perfect combination of magic to save his small planet before the monsters chew through the bubble dome. But the dome's magic will only last a year. Can he do it???
If you like kingdom hearts, jak and daxter with a sprinkle of Naruto and West African inspired magic, then Ambys Stoma is the show for you!
11. COATLICUE - Vivid Shadows 2025
Few now worship Coatlicue, mother of the moon and stars, patron goddess of warriors and women who die in childbirth. But even in her obscurity, she occasionally sees fit to grant her boons to those who are truly deserve them.
[Description - An illustration of a fierce nude woman with motherly proportions. Superimposed over her are design elements from the Mexica Coatlicue Statue: A skirt of woven snakes, a necklace of human hands and hearts with a central skull, and dual ornamental serpents facing one another over her face. Her hands are reptilian and clawed, and she holds a macuahuitl.]
Brothers!
Women who did not survive childbirth were called Cihuateteo, meaning “Divine Women.” Aztec belief said they accompanied the Sun from its highest point at midday until sunset, while fallen male warriors were associated with another part of the Sun’s daily journey.

Mexican Noblewoman
Exquisitely carved Aztec snake and jaguar from the national museum of anthropology , Mexico City.
The Mesoamerican civilizations represent a long continuum of complex societies that emerged independently in Central America and southern Mexico from roughly 1500 BCE to the early 16th century CE, prior to Spanish conquest. Rather than a single empire or linear progression, Mesoamerica was shaped by successive cultural horizons in which shared ideas, such as maize agriculture, ritual calendars, urban ceremonial centers, and sacred kingship, were continually adapted to local environments and political structures. These societies developed without large domesticated animals or metal tools, relying instead on intensive agriculture, labor organization, and sophisticated knowledge systems.
