Just a quick reminder that this ‘blog’ takes a newspaper headline from exactly one year ago and compares it to today’s reality. Let me say this, we have not been served well by either our press or the media in general.

“Britain’s are optimistic about the country’s future after Brexit.”

How wrong can you be? But then those who voted for Johnson and Brexit knew they were electing an incompetent  serial liar to run the country so no sympathy from me.

06.01.21. Bloomberg:  “Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey risked reigniting the politically charged debate over Brexit by predicting that the trade deal struck with the European Union could end up costing the U.K. economy the equivalent of more than 80 billion pounds ($109 billion).

07.01.21. Tax Research UK:  “Northern Ireland’s food shortages and English   indifference.”

07.02.21. Sky news: “Exports to the EU have plummeted by 68% since Brexit.”
