Kagami: Why the h*ck am I so cold and why isn't anyone snuggling me and why do grocery stores charge so much for small amounts of ice cream?
Juleka: Why did you censor the word 'heck'?
Kagami: Because it's a fucking bad word.

Roger: You're receiving a ticket for having three people on one motorcycle.
Luka: Shit.
Rose: Wait, three?
Roger: Yeah?
Rose: Oh my god.
Juleka: KAGAMI FUCKING FELL OFF!
Kagami: Luka has a good heart.
Alix: Yeah, I've seen you staring at his 'good heart'.
Youâve heard of Mominette, now get ready for...
Mamagami (considering âmamaâ literally means âmomâ in Japanese, where sheâs from)
Momâs Words - ML One-Shot
@livrever, @jazzymarie1006 and @purple-moonfang prepare to laugh
As his younger sister of two years Juleka was away for the weekend, staying in Milan with their friends Marinette and Adrien for fashion week as a photographer, he had been tasked with the duty of watching her four-year-old daughter, Viveka.
Luka had been hungry for something such as leftover lunch-meat in the fridge, so of course, heâd went downstairs to get it. After all, Kagami was out driving around the neighborhood to try and get their own daughter along with Juleka and Roseâs younger child, Lilli to sleep, even though they were both slightly over age one.
âWhereâs the food?â he grumbled, dissatisfied with not being able to find it. But that wasnât the worst thing for him, as he felt something hard and heavy drop onto his left toe. âShit!â he cursed.
âShit.â another voice repeated. Despite how spooky he found him being repeated, Luka slowly turned his head over to the hallway, finding a pajama-clothed Viveka standing there, hands on her hips and blue eyes full of her usual toddler attitude.
âWhat are you doing here, Little Miss?â he asked her.
âShit.â she repeated yet again, for the second time.
Luka now instantly felt guilty and petrified about how his niece had caught onto his habits of cursing, and if Juleka or Rose knew this, they would kill him without a drop of hesitation.
âNo, we donât say that word!â he anxiously laughed in a fake tone. âThatâs your mommyâs word.â he explained, lying. âShe coined it, it belongs to her.â
Viveka looked like, despite her age and incapability of understanding, she didnât believe her Uncle Lukaâs lies one bit. âWhy you up?â
âBecause I got some important shit going on here,â Luka answered, looking back into the fridge. âNow, go back to bed, sweetheart.â
Viveka walked away confused, not knowing why Luka had acted so hypocritical with saying the new word she learned. âLittle shit.â
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once sheâd gotten back, Kagami didnât want to let anyone know that sheâd seen the entire interaction between Luka and Viveka through the porchâs window, so she texted Juleka about it privately. She wouldâve contacted Rose too, but she was in Atchoo by request of Prince-now-King Ali to help with sick children, considering her job as a nurse.
Juleka spit out her entire drink of water when being told the story by her sister-in-law, as even though she didnât want her kids to swear so young, it was definitely a priceless level of funny. âHe what?!â she wheezed, bending over and clutching her stomach.
âYep,â Kagami snickered.
âOkay, that is hilarious!â Juleka hollered. âYou have to tell me more about it once I return in three days, okay?â

For the ask OC game. Kimiko Couffaine.
Kimiko Ana Couffaine. Kimiko because it was a female-given Japanese name Kagami had liked from a young age (eleven or so), and Ana in honor of her paternal grandmother (pronounced Ann-uh).
Her best friend is likely her sister Erika or her cousin Joanna.
She doesnât identify as anything yet, although once she realizes she does like Hugo in return to his feelings, she knows she definitely likes more than one gender.
Gold or turquoise! (See what I did with the Viperion and Ryuko color schemes there?)
Single and not ready to mingle yet.
No one in the beginning arc (which my Like Mother, Like Son ficlet is a part of). In the mid-second arc, thatâs when her feelings for Hugo will likely start to develop/start, the third is angst and pining, and finally, they get together in arc four.
Not many. She likes people for who they are, not anything specific.
She LOVES Japanese strawberry sponge shortcake (I think thatâs what it called). For her thirteenth birthday, she and her family (including her aunts and cousins) went to Osaka and Tokyo and she had it for the first time, and that was when she learned the recipe. She actually wishes for it to be her wedding cake when she gets married.
Like I said, not until the mid-second arc. So for now, nobody.
Pop, theater or foreign.
Violence. (Hence the reason she develops anxiety/PTSD for being a superhero, due to graphic imagery. Although if it is something that gets fixed by her sisterâs second chance, she isnât affected as it makes her forget.)
To live in the old times in a fantasy castle.
Biting her lip, getting flustered, and tapping her feet.
Not being able to move on from her biggest mistake as a hero (canât spoil as itâs pretty big). She wasnât able to move past it for a while, not until her sister guided her into feeling okay once again and brushing away her guilt.
Pretty much Lukaâs big surprise for him and Kagamiâs twentieth anniversary (dating). It was a reenactment of their first date on the Seine (same place where he proposed), and Andre the Ice Cream Man was there. Her other siblings had no problem keeping it secret from their mom, but she was a bit stupid and couldnât lie convincingly to save her life.
About her future in being a chef. Itâs been her dream ever since a young age to be able to make a French-Japanese restaurant, and thatâs why she started to work at the La Grand Parisâs restaurant for practice.
None.
Her eyeglasses. She was told about the period in time where Japanese women werenât allowed to wear glasses to their workplaces by her mom (even though she wasnât born yet), so sheâs insecure that kids in her school who also know about it will be xenophobic/sexist towards her OR make fun of her appearance with them on (as sheâs afraid she looks childish/goofy/unattractive). The xenophobia obviously comes from her being part Japanese, while the sexism is her worries about how sheâs a glasses-wearing female.
Sword or a marble rolling pin (style and a harder choice).
And finally, her father. Although instead of being a guitarist, sheâd like to play the electric violin.
Thanks for the ask! Stay peachy, merry Christmas, and a Happy New Years/end of the 2010â˛s!
