I'm from the uk and also dyslexic, and I went through a similar situation earlier this year with my a-levels (i get reasonably good grades without extra time so they wanted to take it off me thinking that i didnt need it) so I kind of understand how it feels like the school board isnt allowing you to reach your full potential.
